The next morning, Selah woke up a bit late than her usual sleep. When she headed downstairs, she saw Lilo and his grandma watering their plants in the garden. She went towards them without any reason.
“Good morning.” His grandma greeted her. She replied with a bit of smile. Lilo just looked at her and continued watering the potted plants.
“I think it’s better if we eat our breakfast.” Her grandma insisted instead of letting Selah stared at them the whole time.
So, they both followed her from the back.
They have their breakfast together. They sometimes have simple conversation but Selah remained quietly eating her breakfast.
“I think it’s a good idea if you would take Selah with you in the farm. You would visit there today, won’t you?” his grandma asked.
Lilo just nodded in response to her.
“It depends on her grandma. She might still be tired and preferred to rest.” He continued.
“No! Selah, you better joined him for a visit. “His grandma insisted her.
Selah just nodded her head for approval.
After they eaten their breakfast, Lilo went upstairs to take a shower and get ready for his visit. Selah, on the other side also prepared herself inside her room. Few moments later, they met each other in the garden where his grandma was having her tea after breakfast.
“You’ll go now?” she asked to Lilo.
“Yes grandma. Is there anything else?” he asked.
“Can I borrow your phone for a while?” the old woman asked him. Curiously, he handed his phone.
“You haven’t taken any picture together aside from your wedding day. Lilo, could you move a bit to Selah. I’ll take one shot for you.” She asked.
Hesitantly, he moved over to Selah who’s standing casually. He offered a light smile while his grandma was taking few shots.
“Can you at least smile?’’ She said.
Just to leave the mansion earlier, they cooperated and gave a smile to her.
“Perfect!” She just said after clicking the camera of his phone.
“Frame that picture for me, son. Let’s add that one in our display.” She continued.
“I’ll try.” He said while making a way for his car outside.
They took the extremely long and winding drive way, lined with big trees which anyone could not see through. It took at least ten minutes to reach the end of the drive way and Selah could barely held in a gasp as she saw the beautiful sight of nature before her.
There was a narrow way out of the woods which only one person could possibly walk. It was a little exciting and a bit scary. Lilo led the way for her as he held the little branches of the plants that blocked their way.
“Be careful,” he reminded.
As they continued walking, Selah saw a small village house at the distant.
“Perhaps there was a small village inside this woods.” She thought to herself.
“We’re almost there. Keep on walking.” He said while still cleaning a way for her. Before they could reach the house, they passed by a short bridge leading its way to the house. There was a statue of a lady at the end of the bridge. But for Selah, the house is the main event of the place. It wasn’t anything ordinary for her. It looked like an ancestral house.
