“Hi.”

A man from her door greeted her with a wide smile. She was frozen for a moment trying to make herself believe who’s in front of her.

“Allie?” she surprisingly asked.

“Of course! Come here! Don’t I deserve a welcome hug?” he teasingly asked.

Selah ran happily towards him and hugged him tightly. She was so happy seeing him again after a decade that she couldn’t hide it from him.

“Selah?” it was Lilo who was surprised of what he saw after he opened the door.

“Lilo…” she stuttered in response.

“Hello, Mr. Saavedra, right?” Allie offered his right hand.

Lilo just looked at them and stared again to Selah with his eyes trying to ask for a good explanation of what he saw.

“You are?” he asked while still staring intently at Selah.

“I’m Allie Alegre, COO of A&A Company.” He plainly replied.

“He’s my childhood friend Lilo.” She excitedly said.

“You can’t hide it, don’t you? At least try to be sensitive Selah.” He plainly said while walking outside Selah’s office and left.

“Why is he acting like that?” Allie asked her curiously.

“Don’t mind him Allie. He might be tired from his flight.” She simply said.

“Do you want me to take you to dinner?” he asked.

She thought for a while. She knew that Lilo would be waiting for him at the basement no matter what.

“Maybe next time, Allie? Is it okay?” she asked.

“Of course. We have plenty of time now in our hands.” He happily replied.

“You’re still gorgeous as always.” He then complimented her.

“You’re still you as always.” She replied.

Allie walked her towards the basement and later bid goodbye upon seeing Lilo waiting for her outside his car. Lilo gently but silently opened the door for her. He drove his car silently not even trying to have a conversation with her. She just stared at the road were the car is heading to. When she noticed he took a different route, she bravely asked him.

“Where are we going? This is off the road, right?” She curiously asked.

“Tomorrow is a holiday. I just want to spend a night here.” He simply replied.

“Without even asking for my permission…?” She was a bit annoyed this time.

Lilo remained silent and never looked at her even a glanced. Upon arriving to the woods, Lilo opened her door.

“Let’s go.” He calmly said.

“What if I won’t? Would you still force me?” She replied with coldness in her face again.

“Look, I’m sorry. I’m just disappointed to what I saw earlier.” He said while looking away from her.

“Are you jealous about Allie? He’s my childhood friend Lilo, don’t you get that?” she said and almost sounded defensive.
