Presley and I walked into school, arguing. When don't we argue? Coop and Casey walked up to us.

"Problem?" Casey asked.

"No, problem, but Presley refuses to take my advice," I said, giving Presley a look.

"That's because you think that I'm an idiot," Presley replied.

"You are," I commented.

"Whatever, I'm checking into the office before they call my parents and tell them that I bounced," Presley said, walking away.

Casey and Coop looked at me.

"What?" I asked.

"You seem to have some issue with Presley," Casey mentioned with a tone that I knew well.

"Nothing that I'm not used to," I mentioned.

I could tell Casey is jealous. I could smell it on him. Presley came out of the office and walked over to me.

"I have to take home economics. Who the hell takes that?" Presley questioned, rolling his eyes.

"What? Do you feel home economics is beneath you?" Casey asked.

Coop and I looked at Casey, then at Presley.

"Did I say that? No, don't twist my words," Presley retorted.

"Let me guess, your the type who plays sports and doesn't care about school," Casey remarked.

Presley looked at Casey with a look I knew well. That was my cue. I grabbed Presley's arm and dragged him away. I didn't need the police called. I promised my moms.

I stood there, looking at Casey like he was on crack. I'm sure he was because a guy like Presley looks like he could lay someone out.

"What?" Casey asked me. "Why are you at me like that?"

"Could you be any more jealous?" I asked.

"I'm not jealous," Casey denied.

"Dude, you're jealous, and you can smell it on you," I mentioned.

Casey raised his arms and smelled his pits. "Nope, I used deodorant today," he replied.

I shook my head, walking to my class. Casey ran and caught up with me.

"I don't see why Larissa acts like besties with Presley. Besides good looks, personality, and warmth, I don't see it," Casey said as we walked to class.

"Because you named exceptional qualities that Presley possesses," I replied, looking at Casey like he was insane.

We walked into class and sat down in chairs. I leaned back in my chair as Presley entered the room. I'm sure I saw Casey's left eye twitch. Presley walked to the back and sat down. We turned and looked at Presley, who opened a notebook.

"Hey, pretty boy, you lost?" Adam Prescott said, who is the captain of the football team. Yeah, the guy's an ass.

Presley looked at Adam. "You gay?" He asked Adam. Damn, that's ballsy.

"What did you say, dickweed?" Adam asked, getting to his feet along with the rest of the football team.

"Then you're deaf and dumb," Presley said as we watched his play out.

Adam yanked Presley out of his seat; then, we watched Presley drop Adam. Our expressions changed to surprise.

Presley looked at the others. "Who's next?" He asked, cracking his neck. The rest of the football team sat down. Presley rolled his eyes and sat down.
