After spring break, we had to make it through finals. Yeah, right. Have you met us? Between dealing with kids at school who didn't learn and each other, studying went out the door. It didn't help that we played strip study sessions.

Larissa and I came up with a plan that if we got an answer wrong, we lost a piece of clothing. Even if we knew the answer, we got it wrong on purpose. That game led to less studying and other activities.

Coop pulled pranks landing in detention. It didn't help that he and Cody couldn't keep their hands off each other. Yeah, we're never graduating.

Cody thought he would help me study. Every time I got an answer right, he would strip off clothes. I laid on Cody's bed, reciting history facts as he did ungodly things to me. Do you know how hard it is to remember history when someone has their mouth on you? I think Cody wanted me to fail.

My dad got wise to what we were doing and made me study at home. There go my fun study sessions.

I managed to study, take my finals, and pass. I think the principal felt relief to know I wouldn't be blowing up his toilets anymore. My dad was just happy that I didn't go to jail.

Graduation arrived.

"Cooper Mackenzie Harrison! Hurry, or we'll be late!" Dad yelled.

I walked over to the railing and slid down it in my cap and gown. Mom and Andi laughed as Dad rolled his eyes.

"Was that necessary?" Dad asked.

"It's always necessary to slide down the banister," I answered.

"You're turning eighteen next week," Dad reminded me.

"I'm still seventeen, which means I can still have fun until I turn old like you," I commented.

Yeah, I didn't get a favorable look from my dad. The door flung open as Casey yelled like a banshee. I laughed as my dad rolled his eyes.

"What? I'm entitled to act like a fool," Casey remarked.

"And a huge fool at that," Gavin said, appearing at the door.

"Pft, I get no love," Casey grumbled.

"Come on, fool," Gavin ordered.

Casey and I ran out of the house, jumping on each other.

"Were we ever this crazy?" Ty asked the others.

"Yep," Mom answered as everyone left.

Our parents pulled up to the outdoor area and parked. Casey and I got out of the car, then made our way over to Larissa.

"Is it bad that I feel relief the kids are graduating?" Gavin asked.

"I think we all feel relieved they made it," Lakin answered.

"Why is everyone standing around and not finding the best seats?" Papa asked as everyone looked at him. He walked past him and sat down next to Larissa's grandpa.

I glanced at a guy next to me. "Don't I know you?" I asked.

The guy looked at me. "You helped my granddaughter and my ma. I'm Nash Gray," he introduced himself.

"Your brother married my daughter and that yahoo husband of hers," I mentioned.

Nash chuckled. "That would be Nixon. He loves weddings," he mentioned.
