Casey
After dealing with our parents, which I never want to do again, we told Larissa what happened. She laughed until her moms talked to her. Yeah, she wasn't laughing after Gavin called Lakin. Laugh at our discomfort, and you're going down. It's a fair trade.
Coop and I walked into class and sat down in our seats. The teacher walked in and wrote on the board.
"Okay, today you present your findings. Who wants to go first?" The teacher asked.
"Can we go together?" I asked.
"Sure," the teacher answered, moving over to his desk.
Coop and I got up and walked to the front of the class. We stood in front of each other.
"We decided to switch spots for the night to learn about each other," I started.
"The problem is, we didn't tell our parents, so they thought they were talking to us when they talked to the other person," Coop added.
"We disguised ourselves as the other person and learned what each of us deals with at home," I mentioned.
"It turns out our parents aren't very bright, and neither is my boyfriend," Coop said, making everyone laugh.
We explained what happened, making everyone laugh.
"What did you learn about the assignment?" The teacher asked.
"I prefer my life over Coop's life," I answered.
"Why?" The teacher questioned.
"Because I'm familiar with how my family operates and understand that's my life," I replied.
The teacher looked at Coop. "And what did you learn?" He asked.
"I learned that we have unique differences. It isn't about our appearance; it's about who we are as individuals that make us unique," Coop explained.
"You both get an A," the teacher said, surprising us.
We sat down in our seats.
"The point if sociology is learning about people and understanding them. If everyone had a chance to live someone else's life, people would understand others better. We all have different cultures and lifestyles. It makes us unique. You learn more about a person when you understand their lifestyle. Who's next?" The teacher asked.
I'm not sure if I ever want to do that again, but it was interesting. I learned Cody respects Coop, his parents are weird, and Mack knows best. Welcome to our lives.

After school, I came home, and my mom made sure it was me. Yep, my parents are weird. I went up to my bedroom, and the window opened. I watched Cody climbed through it, then close it.
"I'm not snuggling Casey, am I?" Cody asked.
I chuckled. "No, that was one time, which we won't repeat," I assured Cody.
"Good, because I prefer my boyfriend to enjoy my snuggles," Cody said, making me laugh.
Cody walked over and pulled me into a kiss. We broke from our kiss, and he walked over to my bed, then lay down.
"So, I was thinking," I said as I walked over and sat down next to him. "What if I tell you that I'm ready?"
Cody looked at me, curiously. "Are you sure?" He asked.
"Yeah, because I want to share that part of me with you. It doesn't have to happen now, but I would protest if it did," I answered.
"I think it should happen naturally. People make these grand gestures when it's a moment that you share with someone you love," Cody explained.
