"Ry" I say my voice barely above a whisper.
"Nick, Nick" he repeats trying to hear me as I struggle to respond to his desperate calls.
"Help please" I say again in a raspy voice.
"Where are u what happened" he Saida's again. He's crying.
"He's back" I crawl back to the farthest corner for the door where the light is barely visible as I hear loud footsteps coming down the stairs. I struggle to make it to the darkness that could shield me from the monster that lay beyond that door. The door burst open like before and I shove the phone behind me away from his sight. I hear no reply just silence from the receiving end as I cowered in a corner as the loud noise got closer and closer. I felt hot breath on my face as the dark shadow approached me. I scream in pain as he starts kicking and punching me. I cough up blood as I fell my back slam against the wall multiple times.
"I'm coming hold on" I hear a muffled reply after what seems like hours. I felt my eyes fall heavy and the noise begin to drown out.
