I've been so tired these days that I could barely wake up from my sleep. Teachers have been dumping loads of homework and projects that anyone couldn't possibly finish within three days.
Staying up late until 4AM has been my routine for the past weeks. Bags under my eyes are getting more evident as I continue to stay up late.
My routine would probably continue for the next few days since I only finished half of the workload.
I woke up to Tooru shaking me and pinching my cheeks. I slowly sit up as I feel my head spin.
"Do you want to skip today?" I shook my head slowly, I don't want my world to keep spinning. "I think you should. You have a fever." I rest my head on his shoulder.
"I can just drink medicine and still go to school. If I leave for a day, there'll be more homework coming my way." I say, letting out a faint cough as I found it difficult to breathe.
"(Y/n). You're going to stay home." I look up to see concern in his eyes. I let out a cough once again. "I'm staying too."
"No, we're going to school." I held my head as I felt my eyes sting.
"You just don't give up."
He helps me up, supporting me as I headed towards the bathroom to wash up. It was a good thing that he always comes here a lot earlier so that we're never late.
It took me about 20 minutes just to take a shower. I got dressed and went downstairs. My parents were already gone for work, so Tooru had prepared breakfast for me as I showered earlier.
I sat, leaning my head on the chair. I just want to finish all of my homework. Tooru places the food on the table, gently pulling me to lean on him.
"How are you going to school if you're like this?" I heard him sigh, he started feeding me. I stopped eating midway, I was already full just taking about 10 bites from my food.
"I can't eat anymore."
"(Y/n) why don't we just stay home? I will skip today if I have to. You're barely even moving."
He gave me the medicine and I drank it. He carried me and gently placed me on the couch. He was about to walk away when I grabbed his hand.
