9. Properties And It's Types

"Property"

Matapos mabanggit ni Mr. Cruz ang katagang ito ay isinulat niya iyon sa katapat na whiteboard. Hindi ko namang maiwasang mamangha sa kagandahan ng kanyang penmanship.

I mean, kumpara sa penmanship ko na kahit freshman highschool studrnt na ako ay mukhang pang-elementary pa rin.

"It is a term used to describe the extraordinary powers that each of you possess." pagdidiscuss ng aming guro.

Teka, ito rin 'yung nabasa ko do'n sa library ah.

"There are 3 types of properties." Tahimik lang kaming nakikinig at nakasunod sa bawat galaw niya. Kasalukuyan siyang isinusulat ang tatlong kataga na'to: Technical, Neutral at Lethal.

"First type is known as Technical. Properties that belong here are those that have an ability to produce, create or compose things."

"Examples of those persons who have these are our great Filipino inventors namely: Francisco Quisumbing, who created the Quink used by The Parker Pen Company, Roberto Del Rosario who invented the Sing-Along System or what we all now know as minus one or karaoke, and many other great inventors and artists. "

"Second type is known as Neutral. Properties that belong here are those that, if used well, cannot harm anyone and don't have any direct effect against others. These are also common or mostly can be found in Alpha Group, like the one you've witnessed yesterday. "

"By the way, Alpha Group is the term used to classify persons like us who possess these powers. So that's why this section is called as Alpha Section."

Sa parteng ito ako napa- "ahhh" sa'king sarili. I also find our section name weird but now I know why.

"Last but not the least, Lethal. As the name implies, properties that belong in this type are those that can cause harm to others, or on it's user itself, if used inappropriately. Most of the properties belong undrr this type are considered deadly."

Natigilan saglit si Mr. Cruz ng nakita ang mga shocked na expressions sa aming pagmumukha, particulary sa'kin.

"But don't worry guys-" he then continued. "-kaya nga tayo may Special Training Class dahil gusto naming mahasa kayo sa paggamit ninyo sa inyong mga properties to prevent any untoward incidents in the future."

Mukhang nabunutan naman ako ng tinik sa'king lalamunan pagkarinig ko no'n. Kung totoo ngang may kakayahan ako, ayokong himantong iyon sa makakapanakit ako ng kahit sinuman.

"Do you have any questions on this part before we proceed?" tanong sa'min ni Mr. Cruz.

Pansin kong napadako ang tingin niya sa kanyang kanan no'ng nagtaas ng kamay 'yung parang maarte naming kaklase.

"What's your property sir, if you don't mind me asking? " ani nito. All eyes are now on Mr. Cruz and are waiting for his answer.

"Let's not focus on my property for now. Malalaman niyo iyon sa takdang panahon." sagot nito sabay ngiti. Lahat kami ay tila nadisappoint sa kanyang sagot.

"Well, if you don't have any further questions aside from that, then let's proceed to your task for today. I want you to go in front amd state your properties based on what you've observed you can do so far all throughout your life."

"Anyone wants to go here first?"

Matapos iyon sinabi ng aming adviser ay kita kong napataas ng kamay itong kaklase kong nagpamalas ng kanyang kakayahan kahapon. Pagkatawag sa kanya ni Mr. Cruz ay pumunta na siya agad sa gitna.

"Hi. I'm Dwayne Gonzales, freshman student from section 1. As you all know, I have telekenesis property which has the ability to move things with your mind. Ever since I was a kid, I'm already known as a math & physics prodigy. So with just the right calculation of distance and height..." saglit siyang natigilan at iniangat niya ang isa niyang hintuturo, causing Mr. Cruz' whiteboard marker to float.
