3rd person Pov
It had been a week since the incident. Marcelo would come by the dorms every day, him and (y/n) would hang out, and Katsuki would stay in his room.
When Kirishima found Katsuki crying on the ground, he learned everything. Sero and Kaminari had also found out the next day. The three boys did their best to return their friend to his old self, but nothing seemed to work.
The blonde was always so quiet. He didn't even mutter a word to anyone besides the three. (y/n) also seemed to be in a bad place. Although the plan seemed to be working, she couldn't stand to see him in this vulnerable state.
Although they weren't together anymore, the other was the only thing they could think about. They both cried themselves to sleep, the past, present, and possible future eating at them. All they wanted was each other, but it seemed unreachable. They both wanted each other, so bad, but the fear of rejection overpowered their thoughts.
Both families knew about the breakup by now. There was definitely some confusion. Mitsuki and (m/n) both tried to get them to talk, but it was no use.
In the end, they had both given up, just excepting fate. "Maybe it was for the best," They said, trying to believe it. Even the rest of the class could feel the tension.
Everything seemed so dull now that the couple was separated. The dorms, halls, even the lunch room seemed to be quieter. The two's grades had fallen and their performance in the class got worse by the day.
Mina, Jiro, and Hagakure were the only ones who knew about (y/n) missing the boy. The whole 'Bakusquad' seemed to have fallen apart. Everything just seemed to be a huge mess.
And that brings us to right now. The heaters blasted and blankets scattered the floor. It was a cold rainy day in the middle of November.
Mina, Uraraka, and (y/n) were playing a game of Uno on the floor, while Katsuki and Kirishima were watching the TV. Despite the cold weather, the class was more lively than ever.
At first glance, you would have guessed that the two had gotten over each other and everything was okay, but that couldn't have been farther from the truth.
If the two had still been together, today would have been their three-month anniversary. Three months may not have been a huge milestone, but it was a huge reminder of how short of a time they were together.
(y/n) sighed and stood up, letting the blanket that draped over her shoulders fall. "Where are you going?" Uraraka asked, "I'm just going to use the restroom, I won't take long," (y/n) said with a small smile.
Once she turned around, her facade fell, showing her true emotions. She walked into the bathroom, cold air hitting her face. Her tired eyes looked into the glass, reminding her how much of a mess she really was.
She had lost interest in making Katsuki jealous. It didn't seem like there was any point in doing it anymore. She hated to admit it, but without him, she felt empty.
The bathroom door opened and she turned her head to see who it was. Mina gave her a sad smile and walked up behind her, giving her a huge hug from behind.
"It's okay," she whispered, "You don't have to hide it," She said, hugging her tighter. (y/n) looked back into the mirror, and watched the first tear fall.
The first was followed by many others. Her head fell to her hands and she cried, tears falling on to the counter. As usual, Mina sat there and rubbed circles into her back.
"What did I do wrong?" She sobbed, "Nothing, but If you really need to know, then you going to have to talk to him yourself," Mina said with a frown.
