Supremo and Xyvier became the main topics of the National TV. Dahil d'on ay nadamay ang The Mythicals at lalong naging mas matunog ang pangalan nila sa madla. Mas lalong dumami ang mga projects and offers ni Xyvier at ng banda mula nang gabing 'yon. Naging busy na rin siya ngunit hindi naman niya nakakalimutan isingit ako sa mga schedule niya.

It's actually weird seeing Xyvier's name all over the social media pati na din sa news. Once again, naging controversial na naman ang apelidong Montefierro dito sa bansa. Parang seasonal na nga lang ang pag-uusap ng mga tao tungkol sa pamilya nila. Huhupa saglit tapos babalik na naman, and then the same cycle over and over.

Sir Leviathan wasn't pleased at what's happening though. Naungkat na naman kasi ang pagkakaroon niya ng madaming iba't ibang asawa. But I remember him saying on one of his interviews na mananatili na lang siyang tahimik dahil huhupa din naman daw ang issue at wala siyang pinagsisisihan because afterall he now has his twenty wonderful children.

At first, akala ko ay negatibo ang magiging epekto ng nangyare sa career ni Xyvier at ng banda. But the audience felt the opposite. They are now giving their sympathy to Xyvier. Ang madalas kong nakikitang sinasabi nila sa social media ay na-a-appreciate nila kung paano nagpakatatag si Xyvier while dealing with his family issues. Ang nakakalungkot nga lang ay may mga tao na ngayong buma-bash kay Supremo. Saying that he's one lucky bastard for growing up with the privileges of his rich mother.

But then, people don't know the truth. They just know the surface, but they don't know what's beyond it.

Supremo's not making it a big deal. Xyvier, on the other hand, is just making himself busy with all the projects of The Mythicals. Balik lang sila dati. 'Yung walang pakielaman sa buhay.
  
       
    

"Nabayaran mo na ba 'yong last upa mo?" tanong ni Xyvier nang makapasok ako sa apartment ko.

Ngayong araw kasi namin napagdesisyunan na maglipat ng mga gamit ko sa kaniyang apartment. Nakalagay na sa sala ang mga maleta ko. Mukhang handang-handa na talaga si Xyvier na i-uwi ako sa kaniya.

I nodded. "Yup, my landlady said that she's going to miss me. Ako lang daw kasi 'yong maagap kung magbayad unlike sa ibang tenant."

Nagtawanan kami ni Xyvier sa aking sinabi at tinulungan ko na siyang hilahin ang mga gamit ko. Hindi ko maiwasang masaktan dahil ito na ang huling tapak ko sa apartment na naging kasama ko sa ilang taon.

Pinagmamasdan ko ang apartment ko nang maramdaman kong sumiksik sa leeg ko si Xyvier at niyakap niya ako sa aking baywang mula sa likod.

"Are you now ready to face the reality with me?" bulong niyang tanong.

I can feel the butterflies in my tummy. At first, I don't really acknowledge those kind of metaphors but I just can't believe that I'm feeling them right now.

"Yes, mi cielo." I answered him, wholedheartedly.

I can feel Xyvier's smile as we both look up to the home I've been living in for years. It's true that I'm ready to face all the pros and cons in life with him. Because I know, the truth is... Xyvier is my life.

We interwined our fingers as we both made our way to his black chevrolet. Just like the normal days, he would always open the door for me before sitting to the driver's seat.

Xyvier held my hand and kissed my knuckles. After that, he would start maneuvering the car controller and the steering wheel while still holding my hand like it's his life.
