I like to read books. I like to read books when my life isn't quite right, and when I just want to live another life for a while. So, I read books.
I get to know Holden Caulfied. I become the one person he can trust, and I love to listen to him.
I go outside for walks with Elizabeth Benett because we are both "very fond of walking."
I walk alongside Nick as we look up at Mr. Gatsby, the man who we haven't quite figured out yet.
I've always buried my face in a book when I wanted to learn about other people and live other lives other than my own.
But now I've met you, I feel like I'm reading an even better book. Because I can get to know you, and discover things, and I won't be buried in pages for once. I can live my life and still feel things.
You, my friend, are a fantastic story. I can feel it.
And I haven't even made it past the prologue yet.
