"What was that all about?" Luke asked as I leaned against my truck's window, and I explained everything that just happened.

"Jesus," he sighed.

"Did you break up?" He asked, and I shrugged.

"I honestly don't even know," I laughed. This whole thing was fucking ridiculous. The exact reason I stayed single in the past was because of the drama being in a relationship brought with it.

"Stay in tonight. Sean, Lexa, Ozzy, Kendall and I were going to just watch movies," Luke smiled. I nodded and gave him a slight smile.

"Don't be sad, DD," he pouted, reaching for my hand.

"What, who's Kendall?" She's an exchange student from America, she's about your age actually. She's staying with Sean and Lexa," Luke explained. After about ten minutes, we reached our home, and Kendall quickly shouted from the kitchen.

"Lu! Is Danny, okay?" I chuckled when Kendall came through with loads of snacks in her hands. She blushed when she saw me, probably embarrassed. She was wearing checked boxer style shorts and a black tank top. She looked good, though.

"Hey, Kendall," I waved. This was only my second time meeting her properly.

"Hey," she said awkwardly.

"I didn't know you were joining us." She gave Luke a glare as she made her way towards the stairs, and he laughed.

"Danny, you can fill Kendall in while I get changed," he decided, already halfway up the stairs. I turned to Kendall and gave her a small smile.

"Are you sure you want to know? It's a whole lot a drama," I explained, playfully narrowing my eyes. The mood here already way happier than the one in the club. Kendall smiled and nodded as she patted the sofa next to her while getting under the blanket. I joined her, and she looked at me expectantly.

"Well."

"Go on then," she smiled. I began telling her everything, and by the end of it, she was frowning.

"God, Danny, I'm so sorry. You deserve better than that," she consoled, reaching over for my hand. When she touched me, I felt my breath hitch, and I felt my cheeks heat up. This was weird. I'd only ever felt this nervous around Kirsten.

"Yo, Danny, get changed, your lazy ass!" Luke shouted, and Kendall moved her hand away.

"There's your cue Rockett," she whispered. I tilted my head in confusion.

"That's the nickname? Really?" I laughed, she shoved me and started laughing too.

"Just roll with it!" I rolled my eyes and went up the stairs into my room. I got changed and also went to the bathroom before going back downstairs to see them watching some chick flick. The girls must have picked first. I rolled my eyes and sat down on the sofa next to Luke. After the first movie was done, the twins were passed out, and Luke was too tired for another. So that just left Kendall and me.

"You can choose this time."

"To be honest, I actually really like action movies and stuff," she shrugged, snacking on some popcorn.

"Cheers," I laughed, giving her a small smile as she threw me the remote. I put on Fear The Walking Dead and heard Kendall gasp.

"I love this show!" She exclaimed. We both laughed, and she gestured towards the popcorn bowl.

"You want some?" I nodded, and she got up, moving the blanket and the snacks with her onto the sofa I was sitting on. I took some popcorn and gave her a cheeky smile when she gave me the "don't you dare eat it all" look. We both sat for hours and hours until Kendall fell asleep. I didn't notice straight away, though; I was way to caught up in the show. When I looked to my left and saw her curled up with the blanket, I couldn't help but smile a little. I sighed and turned off the TV before picking her up. Her head rested against my chest as I walked up the stairs to my room. I put her into the bed and pulled the blanket around her. I was leaving when I felt her grabbing at my wrist.

"Thank you," she whispered. I gave her hand a squeeze as a response before heading back down the stairs and lying on the sofa.

"Danny." I groaned and pushed the hand away that was shaking me.

"Daniel, goddamnit! Your phone keeps vibrating!" I lifted my head, squinting because of the light. Sean was crouched next to me, giving me a desperate look.

"Move," I grumbled. Sean laughed, and then I heard everyone else laugh too. I sat up and saw that Kendall was sitting on the other sofa with a cup in her hand. I grabbed my phone and scanned it over.

From: My Baby- Danny, please call me. I miss you. I'm really sorry, please just call me.

From: Ruffy- Kirsten's really worried. Can you please just message me, so we all know that you're okay? Thanks.

From: Thea- DANIEL, WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU! YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE US LIKE THAT! I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DON'T ANSWER YOUR PHONE!

I sighed and put my phone back on the end table.

"You should really get back to them," Luke said, making me groan.

"I will in five. I'm gonna go to the bathroom," I mumbled, ruffling my hair as I stood up.

"Wow," Kendall mumbled, making my cheeks heat up.

"What?" I asked.

"Oh. Nothing." She looked away. Now I was confused, and Luke started laughing.

"It's because of your body, dumbass. She thinks you're hot." Luke laughed even harder when Kendall punched him in the arm. I blushed even more and decided to ignore the comment and make my way to the bathroom instead. Kendall's hot, there's no denying that. But she's not Kirsten. Besides, I feel so hurt that I don't even want to look at anybody.
