After the gym, I dropped Ezra off at his house, and then I went home, took a shower, and got changed. Luke asked if he and Ozzy came with because he wanted to see what I was up to, and he wanted to see Sean and Lexa. I felt anxious because this will be the first time that I've seen Kirsten since everything went down, and I don't know how to think about it.
"I'm so excited! I've never met Parris before, and I miss Kendall!" Luke screamed, his voice filled with joy and anticipation. I rolled my eyes at hi,.
"Please don't act like that around either of the people you just mentioned," I laughed. He shot me a glare, and then after a few moments, his lips curved up into a smirk.
"You like Kendall," he stated. I felt my face go red, but I was quick to shake my head.
"No. Shut up, Lucas," I mumbled. I parked my truck, and we all walked into the building, and Luke accidentally ran into someone.
"Woah there." It was Quinn. Why?
"Excuse us," I grumbled.
"What's with the attitude Daniel, still bitter about Kirsten? Anesi was right, Ozzy does have a striking similarity to Althea," Quinn laughed, observing my son.
"Still debating whether to kick your ass!" I growled, stepping forward before Luke stopped me.
"Please don't, Ozzy's here," he quietly begged. Parris must have seen what was going was by my side in a matter of seconds.
"What's going on here," Parris asked, looking between Quinn and me.
"Oh nothing, just ran into Luke here," Quinn smiled at Parris.
"Then why does Danny here look like he's about to rip your head off?" Parris pushed, and he shrugged his shoulders.
"He's to tense for his own good," he laughed, pinching Ozzy's cheek, now he's crossed a line.
"Don't touch my son," I growled, and he raised his head and surrender.
"I'm pretty sure he's tense because you mentioned something about Kirsten, who he's just broken up with and you mentioned something about Althea and Ozzy," Parris responded, and Quinn audibly took in a breath,
"Fine, be like that, take his side. I'm sick on you not listening, I didn't do anything," Quinn growled.
"Don't talk to her like that. You do realize you standing in HER studio, right?" I asked.
"No, it's alright, Dan, it's nice to finally meet the real Quinn. You know what? I'm sick of you messing with my dancers," she snapped back.
"You sure you want to do that, Parris? I doubt you guys-"
"Could find someone better than you!" She laughed in disbelief.
"Anyone is better than you at this point, Quinn!" Parris yelled. Quinn looked utterly taken aback when I thought he would open his mouth, and Parris cut him off.
"Please leave my palace Quinn," she demanded. Luke walked up to him and practically began pushing him out of my door, and surprisingly Quinn let him. He left without making more of an ass out of himself than he already has.
"Danny, what the hell was that?" Parris asked. That's when I noticed Kendall, Kirsten, and the rest of the girls were out in the hallway.
"Does he have something to do with why you two-" Kirsten and I locked eyes, and I sucked in a deep breath.
"Please, can we not do this now?" I asked.
"We're gonna be late if we don't go in now," I said, looking down at my phone.
"Fine," Parris huffed.
"But you owe me, Danny. I want answers later," she demanded, playfully narrowing her eyes. I rolled my eyes, and we all went back into the studio.
Kendall told me that I have total creative freedom, and she was just filming and directing the video. Ezra helped me figure out a routine to Snoop Dogg's Drop It Likes It's Hot, and it was about a minute and a half long. The girls got the choreo down right away, and we spent the next three and a half hours cleaning it up. Kendall was ready with her camera and began recording.
