"Corbyn just texted me," Althea tells me as she walked into the studio, causing me to raise an eyebrow.

"Oh really. What did she say?" I asked. Althea giggled, looking back down at her phone.

"She says a lot of things actually. Things that include the observation that you and Kirsten seem to be getting quite close," she winked. I know just from the look on her face that mine was red.

"Awww! You like her!" Althea squealed. I shook my head. Not like she would believe me anyways, they way I acted around Kirsten made it pretty obvious. She cleared her throat and I glared at her.

"Well anyways not that we're done, I thought we could go for lunch..." I smile at the thought of finally eating something after hours of working.

"That's great just let me grab my coat and Oz-"

"There's a catch," Althea said with a straight face.

"What's the catch?" She laughed at my nervousness.

"We're going with the girls," she grins when I groan a little.

"Do you have some kind of fetish with embarrassing me?" I asked a frustrated, don't judge, I'm tired and hungry. I rolled my eyes at her.

"I enjoy making you squirm a little," she shrugged.

"I don't know why your my girl best friend," I teased sticking my tongue out at her.

"I'm more like your sister," she pointed out and I made a face.

"Not ture I'm soooo much better looking, there's no way we're related," I joked in an over the top American accent. Althea chuckled as I helped Ozzy get his jacket on. We say goodbye to everyone in the studio and we head out to my truck. My phone vibrates as Ozzy and I wait for Althea who went back inside to see where we would meet the girls for lunch. I moved Ozzy's car seat to back seeing as I was going to pick up Luke on the way to whatever restaurant we were going to.

To: Lukey- Hey, we should be there in about five minutes, be ready.

From: Lukey- Sounds good bro see you shortly. Love you.

To: Lukey- Love you too.

"Who are you texting?" Althea asked as we fastened our seatbelts. I put my phone it the cup holder and started the engine.

"Luke. We're gonna stop by the house and pick him up for dinner," I explained trying to keep my focus on driving rather than on the conversation.

"Good, I miss my little Lukey Pookey," she laughed.

"If you call him that in public he'll never speak to you again. So where are we heading then?" I asked.

"You're favorite. We're going to Happy Days. I think they let Ruthy pick," Althea laughed.

"Maybe they should have let Kirsten pick." Althea looked up from her phone as of she was in thought for a moment before shrugging.

"Or maybe you take her to Aleco's around the corner for ice cream afterwards. Apparently that's her favorite place," she teased wiggling her eyebrows at me. I tried my best to suppress a laugh.

"Damn, Ruthy's smart," I cured lowly and I could hear the guys chuckling.

"Damn right she is! And don't you forget it, she wants to be the maid of honor when you guys get married!" She joked. I felt me cheeks heat up as I kept my eyes on the road.

"We won't get married The. Kirsten's just split up from Tony and she seems heartbroken by it. It obvious she still loves him," I reasoned.

"Just talk to her. She's a really nice person Danny. Even if you guys are just friends, who wouldn't want to be close to thee Kirsten Dodgen. Nobody can deny that girl is amazing," Althea continued.

"Someone got a crush?" I asked, taking my turn to tease her.

"No....but if she asked me to....I totally would," she admitted shamelessly, shrugging it off like it was no big deal.

"Now I'd love to see that," I smirked at the thoughts flooding my mind. That comment earned me a well deserved punch on the shoulder.

"Ouch!"

"Just when I thought you weren't like other guys," She laughed.

"I am different," I pouted.

"I respect women," I protested. We pulled into Happy Days parking lot and see that Kaea's car was already parked. This should be fun.
