I told Kirsten that we had to go pick up Luke, but I left out the details about his dad. I wasn't really ready to explain all of that quite yet. Ozzy was spending the weekend with Chin and Izzy so it was just Kirsten and I. We got into my truck and Kirsten was being quiet, to quiet.

"Babe," I blurted and Kirsten turned to face me.

"You're nervous," I concluded after seeing her facial expression shift. She gave me a weak smile and nodded.

"It's never just been you me and the boys, Althea's always been here and acted-"

"Kirsten!" I laughed cutting her off.

"He loves you!" I shrugged and Kirsten's eyes lit up.

"Really. That's great!" Kirsten giggled, making my heart swell. I raised our hands up to my mouth and planted a kiss on it.

"I'm going to park here and walk up okay. Stay here," I said once we reached the neighborhood.

"Uh okay?" She said hesitantly. I leaned over and pecjed her cheek. I started walking up the street and was about to round the corner just as I saw Luke running down the street.

"Oh my god!" He bumped into my chest and leaned down.

"Are you okay? Where is he?" I asked seeing how panicked she was.

"I-I don't....know.....just kept...on running," he panted, glancing around nervously. I nodded and took his hand.

"C'mon," I said as I led her back to the car, where Kirsten was sitting on her phone. Luke threw her bag in before hopping into the truck.

"Hey Kirsten," Luke grinned. Kirsten turned to her side so she could see her and she grinned back and shook her head.

"Hey Luke," Kirsten smiled. All the way back to my place Kirsten and Luke talked about Disney movies and Harry Potter. Neither were areas I was at all fluent in, but I was so happy that they were getting along. Luke hated my last girlfriend.

"I know right! Harry and Hermione have weird chemistry," Luke said as he and Kirsten walked behind me. I opened the door and gestured for them to go through.

"Ladies first," I smiled. Kirsten slightly blushed which only made my smile grow wider and Luke rolled his eyes at me.

"Pfft! Kirsten you must be the one," Luke laughed as Kirsten joined him. I caught on after a few seconds after we were all in the house.

"I'm always a gentleman," I protested. Kirsten rolled her eyes at me. I glared at her and she laughed.

"Course you are baby," she said, pulling me closer.

"Now be a gentleman and go make me and you brother some tea," she laughed as I groaned.

"Fine," I huffed. She pulled me in and connected out lips.

"Thank you, my knight in shining armour," she smiled kissing me one more time before she went to go sit by Luke. I returned to the living room with the tea to find them giggling.

"What's so funny?" I asked.

"Oh Luke was just telling me stories from when you guys were younger," Luke giggled.

"Luke, please. No," I begged, setting the tea down and sitting next to Kirsten.

"Come on loser. It's just a bit of fun." Luke and I shared the same mother. The same jackass mother. So we all shared the same last name but Luke and I looked a little different. There's also the fact that I'm twenty one and he's almost sixteen.

"Yeah okay if it's just a bit of fun. Why don't I tell Kirsten about the grape juice story?" I smirked, knowing how much this story embarrassed him, Luke's face instantly flushed red.

"Nevermind, story times over. I'm going to go get changed!" He jumped up and ran up the stairs. I chuckled and Kirsten laughed along with me.

"You'll have to tell me that story one day," she whispered, laying her head on my chest. I wrapped my arms around her laying my head on top of hers.

"It's quite the story," I chuckled.

"It's a shame that I missed out," Kirsten giggled.
