Luke dropped me off at the studio, and as I walked in and said hi to Althea, she slapped me on the back of my head.

"Ow! What the hell!" I whined, and Althea gave me a stern look.

"Danny, we were all so worried about you! Kirsten's a mess!" She yelled. I couldn't stop myself from rolling my eyes at her last comment.

"Not now, Althea," I growled when I tried to walk past her, but she pushed me back.

"Don't!" She screamed.

"You have no idea how worried I was about you!" Her eyes began to well up, that's when the guilt set in. I didn't even think. I should have texted her at the very least.

"I even called your Grandma to see if you'd booked a surprise flight!"

"Thea, I'm really sorry," I apologized sincerely.

"Forgive me?" I asked, moving towards her. She let a few tears fall, and I pulled her into a hug.

"I'm so sorry."

"Don't you ever do that to me again," she mumbled into my chest. I held her tighter, telling her I wouldn't.

"I slept at Kirsten's last night. She was crying all night," she said, pulling back, wiping her tears away.

"I really don't want to deal with her right now...." I trailed off, walking down the hall. Althea followed me.

"Uh? Why?" She asked. I sighed, turning around to face her.

"She's still in contact with Tony," I mumbled. Althea's mouth formed the 'oh' shape, and I nodded.

"Yeah. I know."

"Look, Dan, I know you're pissed off right now. But she really does care-"

"I don't want to hear it, Althea," I spoke, rolling my eyes in the process.

"Kirsten is the first girl that I thought I would spend the rest of my life with!" I revealed. Althea got up and pulled me into a hug; I sighed and tucked my face into her neck.

"It sucks," I mumbled into her neck. I felt Althea nod.

"Did you guys break up?" She asked, playing with my hair. I shrugged.

"Maybe you should go and tell her that you need a break." I didn't want to deal with that, but I had to. So I walked into studio number one and found Kirsten standing over by herself. I sighed. Everything came rushing to me as I approached her. I watched her for a while. It was clear she had been crying, at least to me, her eyes were still slightly puffy. She was wearing one of my sweatshirts.

"Kirsten," I eventually whispered and got closer to her. When she saw me, it looked like she wanted to burst out in tears again.

"Daniel?" She asked, looking away from the ground.

"Where did you go? I was so worried. I'm so sorry for everything." Instead of getting angry, I pulled her into a hug. Maybe it's not the best idea as it made her cry a little. After a few minutes, she pulled back.

"I'm sorry," she choked out, and I shook my head.

"Kirsten, this is my fault. I should have asked about Tony. I should have known that you weren't over him," I explained. Kirsten looked down.

"I should have told you. But whenever I'm with you, I don't think about anyone or anything except you," she answered with a frown, causing me to frown too.

"I think we should take a break," I told her, taking hold of her hand.

"It'll give us some time to figure things out." I tried to read her reaction.

"I don't like the idea of not speaking to you. But right now, I think that's best," she shrugged, and I nodded along with her.

"Danny?" I heard Althea yelling from where she stood with Kaea. I looked over at Kirsten, and the two of us just burst out laughing.

"Okay. I'll see you soon," I reassured her, kissing her on the cheek. She nodded, and I could feel her watch me as I walked away. I could feel the tears well up as I took in a shaky breath.

"Hey, stranger," Kaea chuckled.

"Come here," she demanded as she patted the spot on the floor. I rolled my eyes but let a smile loose as I sat down next to her.

"Where'd you disappear to last night?" She asked. I explained everything that happened last night, and Kaea agreed and wholly understood by the time I was done.

"Sounds like you had one hell of a night!" Kaea smiled, leaning her head on my shoulder. I was about to answer when Althea came running in and jumped onto her lap.

"God, how did I end up living with you," I chuckled. Althea cheekily smiled and shrugged at me.

"Actually, I meant to ask you..." She trailed off and looked towards Kaea. I already knew what was coming.

"If Kaea can move in?" I asked.

"Sure, why not." They both looked happy and shocked. They both laughed and smothered me in hugs.

"Ew. Okay, okay, get off me," I scoffed playfully.
