Chapter Forty Seven

"Danny." I felt my Gran shaking me.

"Come on son, you need to get up," I opened one eye and flinched. She's already opened the blinds.

"Okay," I grumbled into the pillow.

"I'll get up now," I nodded, my voice lower than usual.

"Good boy," Gran laughed, playing with my hair for a couple of seconds before leaving the room. I felt myself drifting off again when someone literally jumped on top of me. We've been in Whangarei for five days now, and it was so lovely to get away from the drama, even if most of it was my own fault.

"Wake up!" Luke yelled at me. I tried to kick him off the bed but failed since I'm so tired.

"Daddy up!" Ozzy demanded.

"Come, ooooon!" He groaned. I sat up and looked at her properly.

"Pass me my shorts," I whined, and she grinned, going to get them right away. I put them on, and we both headed for the kitchen. My Gran smiled at me.

"Aww. I'm so glad that I have you three here for another day, sit." she gestured to the table. I shrugged and pushed Luke towards it. We all sit down and eat breakfast together.

"I've been off of snapchat, and I'm still in Auckland as far as anyone's concerned, but you, they're worried about you. You've even gotten texts from Parris, Elvis, Althea, Kaea, there's actually one from Ruthy too." Ruthy? I felt my cheeks heat up as I thought about the last time I saw her. Is it wrong that I got butterflies? Does that make me a bad person? I cleared my throat.

"Yeah, I'll uh....go turn my phone on now," I smile, excusing myself from the table. When I turned my phone off, I really had gotten lots of messages from different celebrities and a whole bunch of twitter notifications. The first messages I noticed were Althea's.

From: Thea- Dude, where are you? I'm really worried about you. Call me

From: Thea- Danny, I swear if you don't let me know where you are, I'll hunt your ass down like Liam Neeson in Taken!!!

From: Kaea- Althea and I are pretty worried about you. I would appreciate a call? Let me know if you're doing okay.

From: Elvis- Hey. So everybody's looking for you. Are you okay? Call me.

From: Sunshine- Hey. I think we need to talk? Let me know if you want to. I've spoken to Kirsten, and she said she needs time away from us. I think she and Corbyn went to Tenerife for two weeks. Please call me, I've heard that you've gone off the radar xxxx

I'm glad Ruthy was thinking of me honestly. Wow, That really does make me sound bad. But I also feel horrible about things between Kirsten and me.

"Danny!" I heard my Gran yelling from downstairs. I sighed and started heading down when I noticed who was standing at the bottom with them.

"Miss me?" Elijah grinned. I couldn't believe it.

"Aww, my baby boys are finally back!" My Gran cried and hugged the two of us.

"Hey, little bro!" Luke jumped on him, and Elijah held him tightly until he had calmed down a little bit. It's been so long since they've seen each other. After a few minutes, we all sat down.

"So when are you going back then?" Elijah asked after I filled him in on everything, and I shrugged.

"Supposed to be tomorrow with Ezra." Elijah nodded. I told him about what was happening with all of us. Then we somehow managed to get talking about the situation I've got myself into again.

"Look bro, it sounds like you really need some support out there," he smiled warmly,

"I'll come with." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Are you sure? I know you're really not big on fans wanting pictures and knowing everything about you." We both chuckled, and he nodded again, telling me he was serious.

"Maybe I can help you figure things out. Sounds like you've got too much girl drama to handle." Now that's a big brother that I can count on. Elijah is seven years older than me, making him twenty-eight. I mean, I feel like he has way more life experience than me. Maybe that's why he picked Norway.

"Thanks, E," He nodded, and the gestured to my phone, which was still in my hand.

"Are you gonna text Ruthy back?" I nodded and decided that I should take a walk just to think about things.

"Yeah, I'm gonna head down to the river," I mumbled and got up.

"You want to go alone?" Luke pouted. I nodded and went upstairs to get ready. I came back down five minutes later and kissed my Gran on the cheek.

"I'll be back soon.

To: Sunshine- Hey, I agree. Maybe we should have a chat. I'm in Whangarei right now with family, and I get on a plane tomorrow. Hopefully, we can meet xxxx

From: Sunshine- I'm actually in Whangarei! I came a few days ago to see family with my mum and Kaea. Are you free today? Xxx

To: Sunshine- Today sounds great xxx
