I woke up dreading that I'd slept in...when, in reality, my alarm hadn't even gone off yet. I woke up fifteen minutes before six, which kind of worked out perfectly. I still had Ruthy in my arms, and I lay there for a few moments, just taking her natural beauty in. I ordered some breakfast for everyone; soon after, there was a quiet knock on the front door, causing Ruthy to stir in bed.

"Daniel, babe? Get the door," she mumbled cutely. I couldn't help but smile as I did as she told me. The boy that delivered it was about to speak, but I shook my head and signaled him to keep quiet because everyone was still asleep. I handed him a couple of bucks I had on the side before closing the door over again.

"Dan, come back to bed," Ruthy whined from upstairs, and I couldn't even stifle my laugh. I took out Luke and Ozzy's food and put it in the fridge. I hung Kaea and Althea's food on the doorknob and knocked on the door.

"Love, wake up," I whispered against her temple. She shook her head and tried to hide under the covers. I pulled them away.

"Look," I told her. Finally, those beautiful ocean eyes opened and lit up when she spotted the surprise I had organized for her.

"Babe, this is sooo sweet!" That woke her up quickly. She grinned and moved to sit on me so that she could kiss me.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you," She repeated while peppering kisses all over my face. I laughed, trying to avoid blushing.

"I know the way to your heart, Ruffs." She gave me a little hum as an agreement and moved so that we could eat together. After a while, we both had to get ready since we've both got to be in the studio later. A couple months ago, Parris asked Kaea and me if we wanted to participate in a new project, and of course, we both agreed. She's been sending the two of us all around Auckland to learn new styles of dance. We're performing a couple ballroom routines, a couple contemporary routines, jazz, broadway. Parris thinks this will help expand our choreography, and I agree entirely. I think everyone's coming to watch, and no one knows what to expect. It's exciting.

"Look at this," Ruthy laughed, entering the bathroom as I was brushing my teeth. She eyed me in the mirror before handing me her phone.

I began to chuckle and handed back Ruthy's phone so that I could continue brushing my teeth. Ruthy continued to watch me closely and smile at me whenever I smiled at her. It's like I couldn't keep my eyes off her.

"You look beautiful," I said after I was done, turning around and placing my hands on her waist.

"I'm hoping there won't be any single guys at the studio today," I winked jokingly, and her cheeks heat up. She let out a quiet laugh.

"You're the only one I've got my eye on" I leaned in and gave her a kiss.

"You're coming tonight, right?" I asked nervously. There was a lot of pressure on tonight, but Ruthy being there could either add to the nerves or completely take them away. I've always been able to turn nerves into a positive, though.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world," she grinned and grabbed my face to kiss me again.
