God. What the fuck have I done? I had no intention whatsoever of having that moment with Danny. And now Kirsten hates me. Well, at least I think she hates me.

"She's distraught, Ruth." Kyra's face was kept serious, and she kept trying to read my face for answers.

"Did you and....are you and Danny-"

"No," I stated before she could even finish her sentence.

"I-I mean...." Kyra sighed and stopped, stealing my hands.

"Look, Ruthy, before we go up there, you really need to think this through. What happened with you two?" I wish I could know myself. Kyra had always been light-hearted, but when she was serious....god, I knew I fucked everything up. I told her everything, and by the end, she seemed just as confused as I was.

'"God, Danny's gonna get a name for himself," she mumbled, giving me a sympathetic smile.

"So now you don't know what to feel, what are you going to tell Kirsten?" She asked. I gave my shoulders a small shrug. I honestly feel like I have no energy. Within a half an hour, everything had completely flipped upside down for me.

"Tell her everything," Kyra eventually said.

"Kirsten values honesty. If you can't give her that, then don't bother telling her how you feel about him," she was hesitant to speak more as she saw Corbyn coming towards us.

"Just tell her the truth," she whispered. And then it went silent. Corbyn didn't even say anything. Her mouth stayed in a straight line.

"Corb," I frowned, and she rolled her eyes.

"What the fuck, Ruthy?" She sneered.

"We're a family! We don't do that to each other!" She was furious. I feel my eyes start to well up, but before I can say anything, Kyra stepped in.

"Corbyn, Ruthy didn't do anything with Danny," she sighed, stepping in front of me.

"What?" Corbyn's eyes went wide.

"O-oh," she stuttered, and I shrugged my shoulders.

"We had a moment this morning b-but we didn't do anything about it, I swear!" My tears started to fall now. Corbyn sighed and pulled me into her. I continue to cry against her while she rubbed my back.

"It's okay, Ruthy. Just tell Kirsten the truth."
