"I don't think that, by the way," Danny said as we got into his truck. I stayed silent, not really wanting to say anything at this point. Back there, I had left Danny in his room and got ready with Althea.

"Kirsten," he said. He was trying to get me to talk to him. After a few moments, she sighed.

"I love you, Kirsten. I think you're the most amazing human being, and I should be the one worrying in case you leave me for a better guy," he mumbled as we started to drive towards the studio. I finally turned to face him, but he wouldn't look at me because he was concentrating on the road. I took his free hand in mine.

"I love you too," I smiled.

"And you never have to worry about me leaving you....ever!" I said to clarify. He grinned and kissed the back of my hand before letting me put on the radio. We soon arrived at the studio, and I waited as Danny went around the car to let me out. I held onto his hand on the way inside, and we walked into studio one, which Danny has pretty much taken over.

"Okay, guys, we need to stay focused today. If we can get this clean and performance-ready, we can leave a little early tonight," Danny told the kids. I felt my phone vibrate.

From: Ruffy- So Parris wants us in the studio at twelve....did you stay at Danny's house last night? I tried to text to make sure you were okay (I have a feeling Danny took good care of you last night)

I couldn't help but laugh at how childish my best friend was. I quickly typed back so that I could watch Danny teach the kids as the music started.

To: Ruffy I'm already at the studio with Danny, and yeah, I'm okay. Details later, love you, see you soon xxx

From: Ruffy- Okay. Love you loser, see you soon xxx

I rolled my eyes in adoration and put my full attention on Danny as he started to dance. He looked perfect. After teaching the kids for the day, he came over to me with a weird expression on his face.

"Babe?" I asked worriedly.

"Who were you texting?" He asked, sounding agitated, but not angry or intimidating.

"Ruthy," I responded. I pulled out my phone to show him, but he stops me and pulls me to look at him in the eye. He scans them for a few moments before sighing.

"Sorry," he mumbles.

"I-I just-"

"There are still things we need to work through," I interrupt, my hand reaching up to caress his cheek.

"And we will. Together," I say and kiss him. He smiles as we pull away.

"Okay, the rest of the day is ours, so what would you like to do, my Princess?" He winked, and I felt my face burning up.

"Actually...I need to be in studio two in the next ten minutes," I said sadly.

"That's what Ruthy texted me about." Danny nods.

"See you tonight," he said and leads me out the door.

"What's tonight?" I asked as we near the studio that the girls and I use. Danny swings our hands playfully as we walk.

"Oh, there's a party at Parris' house....I think it's to promote music of some sort," he shrugged.

"Not her own?" He shrugs again.

"I don't think so." We reach the room, and the girls immediately circle us, hugging Danny and then me.

"Glad to have you back," Ruthy smirks, shoving his shoulder playfully. Danny chuckled and winked at her.

"Kirsten, we need you and Ruthy," Parris shouted.
