"What's with you?" Althea prodded my cheek, making me push her away and laugh. Ozzy and Luke were spending the weekend with Chin and Izzy seeing as Althea and I were both stuck at the studio until all hours of the night.

"You seem distant," she observed as she pulled off her bag and threw it onto the floor next to me.

"It's nothing," I lied. Kirsten and I had been talking non stop for the past week ever since the auditions and I can feel myself getting super attached to her. She is constantly on my mind.

"Clearly," Althea scoffed, cuddling up to me. I knew she could tell something was up.

"How about we just sit here for a minute and then get back to work?" She offered, lifting her head from my chest to see my reaction. I gave her a small smile and nodded. She gave me a kiss on the cheek and rested her head on my chest. I'm starting to see why people think Althea and I have something going on. We're just close. Really close. After a few minutes, I noticed that Althea was already fast asleep. Light snores escaped her mouth regularly, which was wide open by the way. I chuckled and shifted so I could pick her up. I carried her to my truck and decided to call it a night, as soon as we got home I tucked her in.

"Night Squish..." She mumbled. I shook my head and kissed her forehead.

"Night Birdy." I left her room quietly and went back to the sofa. I ended up watching a few episodes of Law and Order. I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I know my phone was ringing.

"Hello?" I rasped, my eyes scrunched up as they readjusted to the light of the tv.

"Hey Daniel, it's Ruthy. Sorry for waking you up." I heard a lot of background noises. Maybe she was at a club.

"Oh hi Ruthy. It's no problem. What's up?" I asked sitting up.

"Well Kirsten's a bit drunk and keeps asking for you. I wouldn't normally do this, but she really likes you Danny." I couldn't help the smile that was growing on my face. I looked at the time and stood up.

"I'm on my way," I told her as the smile on my face only grew wider.

"Oh my god Danny Boy! You definitely have the approval!" Ruthy drunkenly giggled.

"No other boy would have bothered," she added making me laugh.

"Kirsten deserves someone who's going to treat her right," I replied while pulling a sweatshirt over my head and grabbing my car keys.

"And I'm glad that I have the approval!" I joked back.

"We are in the club in the city centre, you know that one?"

"Yeah, I'll be there in five. Bye Ru," I answered.

"See you soon."

I hung up my phone and shed it into my sweatshirt pocket before going into Dinah's room.

"Thea." I shook her lightly.

"Althea," I whispered.

"Mhm," she groaned.

"I'm going to go and see Kirsten okay? I'll lock the door for you," I told her, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Oh. What time is it?" She rasped.

"It's 1:30 in the morning. But she's asked for me and I can't let her down," I explained and she let out what I think was a chuckle.

"I knew you liked her more than you were letting on. Go get your girl," she mumbled, already pushing me away from her.

I chuckled and left as quietly as possible. I got into my car and started to drive with the radio on. I looked at my appearance in mirror and groaned. Bed head. When I arrived, I saw Corbyn standing outside with a few guys I didn't know. I parked the car and got out.

"Danny!" Corbyn screamed when she saw me.

"Hey Corbyn," I laughed. She introduced me to a Justyce, Ezra, and Jacob, they were all dancers from The Palace as well.

"Is Kirsten inside?" I asked Corbyn, who still thinks that I showed up here randomly.

"She's inside with the rest of the girls," she answered. I made my way inside and spotted Kirsten and Ruthy. Kirsten was waving her drink around while she was dancing. I laughed as I met Ruthy's gaze. She was shaking her head at her drunk teammate. I walked behind Kirsten and gave Ruthy a wink before resting my hand on Kirsten's waist. She jumped a little and spun to face me.

"Hi Kirsten," I grinned. She stared at me blankly for a few seconds before her face lit up.

"Danny! Oh my god!" She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me into a hug.

"What are you doing here?" She gasped, pulling back to look at Ruthy.

"You!" She accused giggling while Ruthy and I laughed.

"Kirsten do you want to have a glass of water with me?" I asked, holding her hips steady as she stumbles a little. She nodded carelessly and let me guide her to the booth that Ruthy and everyone were sitting at.

"Hey Danny, when'd you get here?" Kaea yelled over the music. I was about to reply when I felt Kirsten's hand grip my thigh.

"Get your own man Kaea!" Kirsten pouted. I laughed and smiled at Kaea.

"He's all your Babe," She held her hands up in mick defense as Kirsten growled at her. Kirsten's hand gripped my thigh a little tighter and my eyes widened when she started moving it up a little. My hand quickly covered hers and moved it onto the table. She turned to me and gave me a puppy dog face.

"Not here Babe," I whispered in her ear, giving her a kiss on the cheek. She pouted and nodded.

"Can we go back to your place?" She wiggled her eyebrows.

"Babe, Althea's home," I whispered and she shrugged.

"Okay but I can't wait to have you-"

"Kirsten!" Kyra gasped, smacking the blonde's arm. Kirsten's face turned red and she hid her face in the crook of my neck.

"Oi! Leave my girl alone Aoake!" I scolded jokingly, wrapping my arm around Kirsten.

"Oh...your girl now is it?" She smirked.

"Kirsten. Did you hear that Babe?" Kirsten pulled back to look at me and I gave her a strange look.

"What?" She grinned.

"Are you saying that you're my boyfriend?" She giggled. I nodded moving a piece of hair behind her ear.

"You're mine Dodgen, so get used to it," I stated before connecting our lips for the first time.
