(General Tyke POV)
(Perry's Mother)

I'm looking over the latest reports from the Temple. So far, Princess Jayden is still alive but unconscious. My son and son-in-law are still alive and I can only hope they make it back

I've seen my share of war and don't wish it on anyone, especially my son and his mate. When Perry came to me as a kid and asked me about my job, I was more than happy to tell him. What I wasn't prepared for was when he came to me at the age of 16 and asked if he could join up. My husband wasn't impressed. He blamed me whenever Perry got hurt and honestly, I blamed myself. It took years before my husband realised I had nothing to do with his sons need to join

When Perry came to me and told me about his latest mission, I said no. It wasn't that I thought he couldn't do it, it was that I might not see him again....that's always my greatest fear. It was his father that convinced me to let him go. The night before he left, Perry, Keith, and I went for a run. Side by side in our wolf form, racing and rough housing like we used to when my boy was growing up. It felt like old times, all the world's problems gone in a instant

It made be so depressed just thinking about all the things that can go wrong

Suddenly Lieutenant Browns bursts into my office, making my shitty morning even shitter "You better have a good reason for not having manners Lieutenant" I growl at him

"I do ma'am" He salutes then hands me his tablet "We got a message under AlphaStone alias"

"Shit! I want all available officers in the briefing room immediately" I command him while standing up

"But ma'am" He starts. I look at him to continue "Plum" is all he says And my eyes go wide. I read the message over and over, making sure I'm not misinterpreting it....but it's there, clear as day. I sit down in astonishment Sir Plum is our fucking mole. No wonder Shabina never liked him

'You're welcome by the way' I can almost see the smugness on her wolf face

'Yeah. Yeah' I sigh at her

'If you had just listened to me when I told you he was a nob-jockey, none of this would've happened' She sing-songed

'You don't need to point it out Shabina' I growl

'But apparently I do' She sighs dramatically. I roll my eyes a groan, only to hear a giggle from the doorway

"Shabina giving you hell again?" My husband chuckles. I look around a notice the Lieutenant is gone

"You have no idea" I sigh

"Anything I can help with?" Keith asks. Considering my husband is part of the SOS (Secret Omega Sector) Basically the FBI for supernaturals, I can't see why I shouldn't put his skills to good use

I signal him to step closer and lock the door. He does so instantly and sits, listening to me intentely "Sir Plum is our mole" I whisper

"That mothafucka" He growls "I'll fucking kill him" My husband stands up and storms towards the door

"Stop and get back here" I growl at him. He turns around pouting but sits in the chair in front of my desk "We'll deal with him, but it has to be timed perfectly. We're about to free hundreds of prisoners and I don't want him or any of his followers sending out a warning"
