Visit From The Charming PrinceThe spacious and furnished lounge room was situated on the ground floor. Though equipped with the latest home electronics and furniture, it still upheld that medieval outlook. The contrasting antique and modern designs blended perfectly.
Currently, within the room, stood a tall lone figure of a man dressed in a slim fit black Italian suit. He looked young and refined with neck-length untidy raven hair that gave him a wild nobleman vibe. With arms crossed behind, his sharp midnight black eyes were looking at the antediluvian paintings decorating the walls.
"To what do I owe this pleasure of your early visit, Prince Malfoy?" Isabella suddenly greeted the gentleman.
She had appeared in the room silently like a cat, but that didn't startle the man. He smoothly turned to face the Vampire Queen and fixed his charming eyes upon her. Those pair of black orbs seemed to be glowing with deep and unrestrained desire. He wanted to take a step forward, but stopped midway upon second thought.
"Isabella." The man referred to as Prince Malfoy crooned the name. His full lips curled up to a beguiling smile when he marveled, "How lovely to see you again. Oh my, it has been many decades but your beauty never wanes. It is just as heavenly as it was before."
Isabella just gave him an indifferent smile. "Seems your flattering has never ceased. I hope you have been faring well, though?"
"Indeed." Prince Malfoy's grin widened and started approaching her.
However, Isabella interrupted his approach while speaking formally, "For you to come all this way to visit my humble abode, does it have to do with my summoning of the Council?"
"Oh no, Isabella. Can I not come and visit mi Reina Hermosa? Must it all be about political business?" Prince Malfoy asked suggestively.
Isabella did not reply straightway as she went and sat on one of the white leather sofas. Prince Malfoy couldn't help licking his lips subconsciously upon seeing her body curves etched from her gown dress.
Isabella was unoffended to his licentious stares and offered with the same indifferent smile, "Please, feel at home. I'm certain your journey here has been quite strenuous."
Just as he was taking his seat on a nearby sofa, the doors to the living room slid open and in came Grandpa Han carrying a tray full of refreshments. After carefully placing them on the crystal clear glass table, the old man turned to the visitor and simply bowed in greeting. "This humble one welcomes Prince Malfoy III."
"Mr. Han, how nice to see you again. Last time we met you were just a small boy. Now look at you. Even someone might confuse you to be my elder," Prince Malfoy joked in a sociable manner, yet there was an underlying insult in his words.
Grandpa Han replied back with a queer smile of his own, "The young Vampire Prince has not changed at all. Still speaks like a young man. It makes these old bones of mine shake with amusement."
Isabella hastily stifled a laugh with a cough, whereas the Prince sent a death glare the old man's way. Prince Malfoy III and Grandpa Han differences dates back decades. The pair have never been fond of each other. Resulting in such hidden animosity.
Unfazed by the glare, Grandpa Han bowed to the Queen and turned to leave the room, but not before sending a faint complacent smirk the Prince's way. Prince Malfoy acted aloof, but his broad jawline clenched.
He then cleared his throat and turned to Isabella. "That old butler of yours is quite friendly with guests."
"Ah, you know how Grandpa Han is, he acts in a freely unrestrained manner. It's quite refreshing to say the least," Isabella defended Grandpa Han as she climbed to her feet and went to pour two glasses of blooded wine. "So tell me, how is the Malfoy Royal Family? I expect that old wily fox will be making an appearance?"
