Jungkook first person pov:

I love you.

She sang to me. And it was the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. And working with singers, that's saying a lot! It was so unlike any other I've heard before. Her voice is neither deep nor light, its something else entirely. The only way I can even think to describe it is: enchanting. Like a siren, when she sings it's like there's a pull in my chest, in my heart.

Yes, I've heard her sing before, but not a song like this, not with so much passion and depth to it. She sang for me, for only me.

I love you.

I know it was only in the song, and it was in English, but those three words stuck with me, even after she finished up her work minutes later and we went home. Even after I got back to the dorm and flopped down on my bed, I couldn't stop thinking about her voice, and the words she sang to me.

I love you

Later that day (since it was early morning when I got back) I woke up at 3 pm and groaned. I don't remember falling asleep, but presumably, I was drawing since I have pencils and sketch pads littered around my bed. I pick up the one closest to me and look over the drawing:

It's Diana Noona, sitting at the desk in the office, lip between her teeth, fingers on the keyboard, eyes focused, and alive with purpose.

It's a good one of her, but it still needs some work. I've just grabbed some pencils and am about to start working on it when I hear a knock on my door.

*Knock, knock*

"Kookie? Are you up yet?"

It's Suga Hyung. "Yeah Hyung I'm up," I answer and have just enough time to shove my things under the covers before he walks in, and sits down in my swivel chair.

"So where'd you go last night?" he asks.

"Wwhhhaa... What makes you think I went out?"

"You never sleep this late...And I came in to check on you and you weren't here. Don't lie to me."

I bow my head. Of course he did. "Sorry Hyung."

"Don't be sorry, just tell me where you were."

"I, umm, I was at Bit Hit," I say and look up to find his face full of confusion.

"What do you mean? Rehearsing?"

"No, not exactly. You see, um, Noona texted me."

"Diana?"

"Yeah, she said she was working late."

"At Big Hit?"

"Yeah, she was volunteering to do this work that Bang Si-hyuk needed by today but the person who's job it was is sick so she offered to do it," I explain.

"So you offered to go over there and keep her company at 1 am?" He asks me with amusement taking hold in his tone.

"Pretty much." I nod.

"So you just went over there in the middle of the night and hung out while she did work?"

"That pretty much sums it up."

"Wow, didn't see that one coming." He says and then smiles at me. "What's under the covers?"

"Noo, nothings under the covers..." I say, but he just sits there and waits, "except some drawings."

"Ahh," he says and then backs off, getting the message. "Well I'm going to head to the studio with Hoseok but everyone else is here, ok?" he says and gets up to leave.
