Diana first person pov:

As it turns out, I did not get to play Mario Kart with Jin Oppa, due to the life-altering event that was karaoke.

Now having crazy, singing, and dancing friends back home, I thought I knew what it was like to have a karaoke party and just be crazy in general. Turns out I was wrong. So let me tell you, that you've never actually experienced chaos until you've witnessed a bts karaoke party.

Hoseok Oppa and Yoongi Oppa have just finished performing (if that was what we're calling it) a Korean song that I've never heard before. Kate and I are sitting on the gray couch, watching and failing not to laugh. Neither of us really know what they're singing, but with this group, lyrics aren't the main attraction.

"Who's next?" Hoseok asks sitting down.

"OOOooooOOOHh! Kate and Diana should sing for us!!!" Jin Oppa says tickling Kate's stomach.

"Yes! Yes! They haven't gone yet!!!" Tae claps.

"Must we?" I ask half covering my face with my hands.

"Come on! We all went!!" Jungkook says, silently pleading with his big eyes. Damn, he's cute.

Its true, I especially enjoyed hearing him and Jin sing what I think was a love song since the other boys were shouting at them to act into it more.

"But I can't sing in Korean," Kate says.

"So? Sing in English." Namjoon Oppa says obviously.

"Yeah sing an American song!!" Jimin says pulling me up from my comfortable position on the couch. Almost wrenching my arm out of its socket int he process.

"What do they want us to do? Sing Savage, or Renegade?" Kate asks me while getting hauled to her feet as well.

"I don't think they mean a TikTok, but we should totally do one later." I half-whisper back to her. "Soooo, what song do you want to do?"

"I don't know. What's something American?"

"You mean like from just dance." I laugh.

Wait. Just Dance....

"Call me maybe!!" We both burst out at the same time.

The music gets cued up and we take hold of the mics.

"Are we really doing this?" I ask at the last second.

"Oh, we're really doing this!" Kate says firmly, and the music begins.

We really did it. And it made me think of just how much I love singing this kind of thing with a friend, and how long it's been since I did just that.

The song ended with the boys striking poses with us, after jumping in and half-singing, but mostly dancing along.

"Do another one! Do another one!!" they scream at us and Taylor Swift's ME, gets put on:

We sing. And sing, and sing. Until we're all out of breath and need to sit back on the couch. Though with all nine of us it's a little squashed.

"Ugh, I should get back to writing." Yoongi Oppa says getting up and making for the stairs.

"I'll come too." Namjoon Oppa says, following him up the stairs.
