"do you think we could have gotten too far?"
jaemin turned his head to look at jeno in the eye.
they were both lying on jeno's bed, one at each end of it.
"what does that mean?" he asked.
jeno passed a hand through his jet-black hair.
"like... could donghyuck and his... boyfriend... be really happy despite their differences?"
jaemin raised a brow. "the thing is not about happiness, jeno. it's about morals. donghyuck is way too young for him. and i don't know... their worlds don't fit together."
jeno though for a second.
"their relationship is weird to me..." he explains. "i don't even get how they got to know each other. i mean... those disgusting bikers and us live in two completely different universes. and, i'm sure donghyuck used to badmouth them as much as we do..."
"that's all his boyfriend's fault." jaemin told. "he manipulated donghyuck into his trap. and now he's caught and can't get out."
"or that boy could actually not be a real biker?" jeno supposed.
"what?! of course he is! have you seen his piercings? and he's always with the others! of course, he is one. he just managed to charm hyuck."
jeno hesitantly nodded.
"there should be a way out. there always is." jaemin rambled. "it's like some sort of magic potion. donghyuck has to fall out of love."
jeno stayed silent, staring blankly at jaemin's face.
"but..." he started.
"jeno?! are you starting to think their relationship could be normal?" jaemin asked worried.
"i'm not 100% convinced it is normal, because they are not the same age and everything. but... i'm thinking that we may have been a bit harsh..."
jaemin – who was about to fight back – kept his mouth shut to think for a while.
"w-what made you think that way?"
"i don't know... his parents didn't support him at all... he's alone right now. he's locked in his house, without a phone and he can't get out to see the outside world. his parents are making a big deal out of it... as his friends, we should support him, shouldn't we?"
jaemin slowly nodded, taking into consideration what jeno was saying.
"donghyuck may be feeling like the whole world is against him. even if we don't like his relationship, i think we should respect it... we're his friends after all. we already told him what we thought could happen, now he's got everything in his hands to make a decision. either leave that boy or stay with him. but we did our job."
jeno lifted his eyes to look into jaemin's.
the boy was in a deep reflexion.
"d-does that mean we have to... do against our will?" he asked.
jeno shrugged.
