After mine and Scottie's conversation, I ended up riding home with him since he was my date after all. It would've been awkward if I rode home with Parker, now that I think about it.

On the way home, Scottie and I didn't talk much. I was exhausted from today and the only thing I wanted right now more than food was sleep. My eyes were drooping shut, but I was fighting to stay awake because I didn't want to fall asleep on Scottie.

He was taking time out of his night to drive me home and if I slept on the way, that would be rude. I think he noticed that I was falling asleep despite my best efforts, because he was careful not to hit any potholes or bumps that would wake me up.

When we arrived at my house, he nudged me. "Thanks for the ride," I yawned, hopping out of his car. "Good night!" I said, walking up my drive way and unlocking the front door.

I slipped off my shoes and dragged my feet up the stairs and into my room. Ah, room sweet room. How I missed my bed. Flopping on bed was supposed to provide me with instant relief, but was instead interrupted by someone banging on my door.

"Go away!" I grumbled, not looking when I threw a pillow at the door.

"It's me, Blaze. Open the door before I smash it down," my brother yelled, banging on my door again. "Oh for fucks sake," I huffed, getting out of my bed and opening the door.

"What do you want? I'm clearly trying to go to sleep," I sneered at him. "Well, I was just getting home from a long day of college when I saw a guy pulling out of our driveway. Do you want to tell me what that was about? Did he take you on a date? Was he nice to you? Has he ever committed a crime?" he questioned me.

I rolled my eyes, slamming the door in my brother's face, but he caught it before it could shut. "Answer me Blaze. I need to make sure it wasn't some creep that's just trying to get in your pants."

"Are you high right now?" I asked.

"No, why?" he seemed puzzled by my question.

"Because, I told you about this a weeks ago when Scottie first asked me out, and if you couldn't tell, that was Scottie dropping me off from our date at the Halloween festival, which again, I told you about weeks ago."

"Oh," he mumbled. "Well, how did it go? Did he treat you okay?"

I knew he wasn't going away without answers, so I grabbed his arm and dragged him over to my bed so I could lay down while we talked. "It went pretty good. We had a good time playing the games, eating the fried food, and talking about the most random things. Although, I only ended up going on one ride, because Scottie chickened out and didn't want to go on any."

"Other than that, he was really sweet to me. He was the perfect gentleman, holding my hand, protecting me from the crazy crowds when needed, and he even won a small snow globe for me."

"That sounds nice," my brother commented. "Are you going on another date?"

"Well, he didn't ask me, but I'm sure he will soon. We both like each other, so it's inevitable."

Satisfied that I wasn't hurt and was happy with the outcome of the date, he finally left so I could get some beauty sleep.

I fell asleep as soon as he left. I was passed out for the rest of the night, too deep in sleep to hear my phone ding with a text from Parker telling me I left my teddy bear with him.

When I woke up in the morning and saw the text, I immediately texted him back asking to meet up so I could get it back. We settled on meeting up at a McDonald's near my house. I don't remember how he ended up with it, but I wanted it back.
