The doorbell rings.
Pinause ko ang pinapanood at mabilis na hinagilap ang wallet.
Excited kong binuksan ang pinto.
"Why are you here?" The moment I saw the person in front of me, agad nawala ang ngiti ko. Pizza delivery guy ang ineexpect ko, bakit siya 'tong kaharap ko?
"Can we talk?"
"You promised not to appear in front of me anymore, tanda mo?"
"I—"
"Ay wait, do'n ka nga pala magaling 'no? Sa 'di pagtupad ng pangako."
"Heave—"
"Get lost. I have nothing to say to you."
Isasara ko na ang pinto but his hand stopped me from doing so.
"Let go," utos ko.
Pero 'di siya natinag.
"This won't take long."
"Let go."
