[ CHOI LIA'S ]

It's been a week since Ryujin and I's misunderstanding. Sa loob ng isang linggong 'yon, hindi niya ako tinawagan o kahit text man lang. It was hard but I did the same, too. Hindi rin ako nagparamdam ng isang linggo. I think it's for the best at the moment.

Masama ang loob ko dahil hindi man lang niya ako pinakinggan. She just left believing what she think is true. She was always like this. Of course!

I was sitting beside my window, nagmumukmok habang pinapakinggan iyong CD na regalo niya noong pasko. Her handwritten letter was also on my hand, too. I've been reading it over and over again for the past days. Gusto ko nalang matawa dahil sa sobrang ironic ng sinabi niya rito sa nangyayari ngayon.

Do you really feel something for me, Shin Ryujin? Are you ready for us? O naguguluhan ka pa?

Almost five months wasn't enough for Shin Ryujin to fall inlove with me for she is different. Alam kong hindi gano'n kabilis para mahulog siya sa'kin so all of this is alright. I wanted this, might as well deal with it.

I sighed for the nth time and winced when I felt how sticky my cheeks are because of my dried tears.

Tumayo na ako mula sa pagkakaupo at kinuha ang phone sa kama. I wasn't expecting but I was also expecting for Ryujin's texts.

Pagbukas noon ay wala pa ring mensahe galing sakaniya. My heart clenched at that but I proceeded to reading Sojin's texts. Magkikita kasi kaming tatlo mamaya-maya. They're back from their trips and we wanted to meet up to celebrate the days we missed each other. Ilang araw nalang din kasi ay tuloy na ulit ang klase.

Pagkatapos magbasa ay inilagay ko ang phone sa bag na gagamitin ko ngayon. I then went towards my bathroom to shower. Hindi nagtagal ay natapos rin ako.

Nagpalit na ako agad. I wore my black highwaist jeans paired with my thick knitted pink sweater. Sa sapatos naman ay nag-sneakers lang ako. I wore my hair down and put a little tint on my lips before grabbing my sling bag and beige trench coat before going out of my room.

I took a deep breath as I went down the stairs.

"Finally meeting Ryujin?" si Papa nang bumungad saakin sa sala.

I went nervous at that but I managed to stay calm. "No, sina Aecha ang kikitain ko," I answered as I shook my head.

His brows shot up before nodding.

"By the way, Pa. Can I use your car? Hindi ko yata kakayanin yung lamig sa labas," usal ko.

"Yeah, sure. Nandiyan sa mesa ang susi," sagot niya at pumanhik sa kusina.

"Thank you! I'm going!" paalam ko bago dinampot ang susi ng kotse pagkita ko noon. It was indeed still cold as hell outside. Sana sapat itong suot ko para labanan iyon buong araw.

Agad akong nag-drive paalis doon. Sa huling basa ko ng text ng dalawa kong kaibigan ay nandoon na raw sila sa mall kung saan kami magkikita. I wasn't late, though. Maaga lang talaga silang dalawa. 

Nakarating din agad ako doon. I parked the car first before going out, of course. I made my way to the store where the two of them were currently in. Binilisan ko na dahil hindi ko mapigilang ma-excite. I wasn't really excited to see them before but today's a change, I guess. Maybe it's because I've been alone for the past week and I wanted some company.
