The next day was just normal. Blade and I grabbed some breakfast at Sunset Hills. My parents will be coming home in the afternoon so he packed all of his stuff and I asked our maid to clean the guest room that he had been staying in. I thanked him again because honestly, he didn't have to do that. He just smirked and told me that he only did it because it brought a lot of perks with it. I just chuckled and ignored his comment.

School was alright. I had English with Nick, we got a small project that we had to turn in on Friday but we got the entire les hour and also the one tomorrow. Friday we wouldn't have English but we had to hand it during tomorrow's class or find our teacher on Friday. Nick and I decided to just work really hard during class so it wouldn't take any of our free time.

I also had a free period which I spend with Cameron in the library sneakily munching on some snacks. Lunch was just the usual bickering and Mia and Isaac made out a couple of times which made all of us shudder in disgust.

Throughout the day I could sense Cody's glance at me but I just ignored him. I am not looking for anything that he has to offer me right now and I also didn't forget the rude comment he made about me and Blade. right now, I had enough boys in my life to maintain anyways. Trust me the golden boys of this school are a lot of work. I didn't mind though. I really enjoyed the new friendships I made. All because of the art project that made Blade and I spend so much time together that we started to like each other. As friends!

With benefits...

After school I made my way to the mall to work. It wasn't busy so I was mostly chatting with Gabriella. She told me some embarrassing childhood stories about Blade which made me almost pee my pants. When the clock hit 7 pm I clocked out and said goodbye to Gabriella.

I made my way home and I could already see my parent's car in the driveway. I skipped inside and went straight to the kitchen where I knew they would be. "Mom." I exclaimed when I saw her and I threw my arms around her. My dad chuckled. "Hey honey." My mom said as she hugged me back. After I was done, I go to my dad to give him a hug. "I missed you guys." I tell them as I take a seat on one of the barstools.

"We missed you too sweety." My mom said. My dad nodded in agreement. "We did get a lot of work done though so the next couple of days should be more flexible than usual" he said and I smiled at them. "Do you guys want to go out for dinner?" I ask them. my mom smiled and looked at my dad. "Sound like a good idea, right?" she asks him. my dad looks at her with so much love in his eyes that it brings a smile to my face. "Yeah sure. We can go to Manresa." He says. My eyes widen. "Okay sounds good but I will be needing more time to get ready then." I say with a laugh. My dad shakes his head. "You have an hour." I nod and sprint up the stairs. I can hear my parents laughing behind me.

Let me explain. Manresa is this really expensive, five-star restaurant on the other side of the city. The food is amazing and a lot of rich people go there. Wealthy business man and woman, famous people, wannabe famous people who save up all their money to make their appearance. There is always a lot of paparazzi at the restaurant.

That is one of the reasons why I wanted to look good. Plus, it is a five-star restaurant, it comes with a dress code. I would for sure get photographed since the paparazzi, gossip sites and such, the news and so many more media outlets were interested in what my parents did. Automatically they were also interested in what I was doing. I mostly wouldn't notice in my day to day life but sometimes they would just show up while I was at school or at the mall or anything. It didn't bother me too much since it mostly only happened when something was happening in my parent's business.

I quickly showered but made sure that my hair didn't get wet. I already washed it yesterday evening so there was no need for that. I picked out a satin rose-gold dress and paired it with the same color heels that had straps that made their way up my legs. The dress clung to my body and accentuated every curve but it still looked classy rather than slutty. Just the look I was going for.
