Jessie and Jenny were running out of school because they made a bet on who would get to Julie first. Stupid, am I right?

"Why are they like this?" Sofia asks.

"I dunno." I take her hand and run after them.

I already saw them talking.

"Oh my god, are they being annoying? I'm sorry about them." Sofia says to Julie.

"No, no. It's fine. They asked if I could hang out with them. I would, but I'm busy so I'll talk to you guys later?" Julie says we nod and wave.

"Okay, that just happened." Jenny says.

We see the boys walk up to us.

"Just act normal." I whisper to them and they nod.

"Is it just me, or do they look like us and Bobby?" Luke says.

"Y-Yeah, that just happened." I stutter a bit.

Jenny looks at her phone and squeals making the boys cover their ears.

"Guys, I got us a gig!" Jenny says and Jessie and Sofia start to squeal.

"That Girl is totally Bobby. She just better not be like him." Reggie says, referring to Jenny and the others nod in agreement.

"Ok, that's starting to get annoying." I say covering my ears.

"She's me." Luke points at me.

"Okay, can I um," Jessie starts to say, trying to hide her excitement, "Can we please, please, sing a country song?"

"Reggie." Alex and Luke says.

"Okay, Jessie, do you know a country song that we could play our instruments to?" Sofia asks Jessie and she shakes her head.

"I shred on the banjo so..." Jessie says, flipping her hair to the back of her shoulders and Sofia rolls her eyes.

"She's Alex." Luke says, pointing to Sofia.

"Hanging at my house?" Sofia asks them.

We all say yes and we get there, the boys still behind us.

"Woah." We hear the boys say.

The house really nice and had lgbtq+ flags everywhere.

"Hey mom?" Sofia shouts.

"Hey guys." Her mom says and we all take turns to hug her.

"Mom?" We hear Alex say barely over a whisper.

"Is dad okay?" Sofia asks.

"Your mom has changed a lot." Luke says.

"Yeah, he's in the living room."

"Dad's here?" Alex said, trembling a bit.

We all go into the living room.

"Hey Richie!" I say and hug Richie, Sofia's stepdad.

"Sup, Richie." Jessie gives him a peace sign.

"Richard." Jenny gives him a fist bump.

"Hey dad." Sofia kisses his cheek.

"That's not your dad." Reggie says.
