Francis Neil Juariz
"The number you have dialed is un-"
"Why are you not picking up my calls, you little shit?"
I was so close to smashing this motherfckng phone on the wall. Walang silbi.
"Francis, my man.
"Tangina mo. Where are you right now?"
My secretary walked towards my table with his usual poker face and boring black suit. This guy is making my work life hellish and boring as fuck pero hindi ko rin naman maikakailang mas naging positibo ang feedback ni dad sa akin simula nang mag-trabaho siya para sa akin.
I got him two years ago. All of my former secretaries used to be intelligent women with beautiful faces and model-like bodies. Women who spiced up my work life. All of them did not fail to entertain my boring office with their little moans. But it was never the same after I went back from Cebu. It didn't sit right with me having them around here.
It stopped when I changed my secretary.
"Sir, you have ten minutes before your meeting starts."
Tumango ako at saka sinenyasan siyang lumabas. He nod back at me bago niya ako tinalikuran. I brought all my attention back to the call.
"Is Tyga with you? What is he doing there right now? Why isn't he picking up my calls?" "Give him your phone. I need to talk to him."
I'm losing all my goddamn patience because that crazy little shit has been ignoring me since yesterday.
"Dude, chill. He went down to the city to take care of his banana cue business. Ano bang problema?"
Anong problema? That guy is my problem. He's not picking up my calls for God knows how many times already. I was supposed to tell him about my flight next week. I was supposed to tell him that I'm going to visit them but he keeps on rejecting my goddamn phone calls.
We were fine these past weeks since I contacted them four months ago. Maayos kaming nag-uusap sa mga texts. I thought we were okay.
I heaved out a deep sigh. "I'm going home next week. Bibisita ako diyan. I'll just finish a few more business here in New York before I head home.
"You better head home quick madali pa namang matukso 'tong asawa mo. He was furious when he saw your face in the news yesterday."
