Chapter Eighty-Five - Dancing in the Moonlight

The wedding was fast approaching, and I had almost completely forgotten about dress fittings that had been that Sunday morning. It was a little last minute, though it was the only day that the only tailor's in Ohio could do. Although the wedding was out on Long Island, it had made more sense doing the wedding party's fittings in Lima where most of us were.

"I am going to be the best maid of honour, even better than Stacey." I insisted. Kurt and Freddie had both chosen a maid of honour and best man each. Freddie choosing his older sister Stacey and his childhood friend Callum. Then Kurt had chosen, well, Blaine and I.

"I'm glad you're alright with Blaine still being my best man, kind of made things difficult when you broke up," Kurt sighed. We had been driving to the fittings, agreeing to meet Blaine there, who I assumed would be bringing Sebastian.

"Come on Kurt," I rolled my eyes, "as soon as Blaine realises that Sebastian is a human extension of a meerkat he'll break up with him and come back to me."

"Just don't, don't mess it up this time," Kurt said.

I was almost offended, belittled, by his words. He had silently taken Blaine's side when we broke up, he wouldn't admit it, but I didn't blame him. I was in the wrong. Though did he not think I knew what I had done? Had he forgotten how broken I was?

"You say that like I did it on purpose," I spat back.

"You know what I meant," Kurt gritted his teeth together and responded.

"He kissed me, that doesn't mean nothing," I reminded him.

We got there, brought into the room where Blaine had been standing in his white tuxedo, staring in the mirror as he adjusted his bow tie. He turned around to see us, "Sorry, I got here early and the woman said I might as well go ahead."

Kurt squealed before I could answer, "You look so handsome! Best best man ever!"

Blaine chuckled, "Thanks Kurt. I didn't think I was going to be able to pull off a white tux."
