Kurt was into performing. Poppy was into sport.
Growing up, it had always been as simple as that for Kurt Hummel's younger sister, and boarding school in England had set her up to be a professional soccer player. Then her foot was crushed by a drun...

Chapter Sixty-Two - Raise Your Glass
I was snuggled up in Blaine's arms when we awoke to our first morning in Los Angeles. The sun was shining onto the bed through the window, the air conditioning loud but essential in the early summers heat. We had both been naked, only covered by a thin white sheet, and I could already tell today would be a hot day in the city.
"Happy birthday beautiful," Blaine moved from underneath me so his lips could grace my forehead, leaving a soft kiss. I smiled into his embrace, taking in the soft light of the room we we had woken up in. I had forgotten all of my sorrows at our competition defeat, this was paradise.
He was softly fiddling with my curls as we lay there, both perfectly content in the moment, the ease of the morning. "I was thinking we could get ready and go and get some breakfast? Burt and Carole got up early for a hike which means I have you all to myself for the day until dinner with them."
"I don't know how you're going to convince me to move Anderson," I sighed into him, wiggling slightly to get even more comfortable against him. I loved him like this, our skin bare on each other and his morning curls that lay on his forehead. His natural boyish smell before he layered his products onto him and the croak of his morning voice.
"With the promise of pancakes and kisses on the Hollywood boulevard?" He questioned, giggling into me.
I moaned back into his chest, turning slightly so I was facing him now, "But you're so cosy here."
"As appealing as spending an entire day in bed naked with you sounds, we're in Los Angeles, we have to explore," he took my face in his hands, kissing me on the lips quickly after he spoke.
"I hate to say that you're right, god, I wish we were here forever," I slumped back into him, hugging him tighter to me. Relishing the lasting moments.
"And after New York we'll be here, it's in the plan," Blaine reminded me, smiling as he kissed the top of my head before getting out of bed. He attempted to pull me with him but I was reluctant, preferring to watch him as he got out, staring at me unimpressed. I was gawking a bit, seeing my fiancé fully naked in the Los Angeles light may have just been the only birthday gift I needed.
