Chapter Sixty-Three - We Are Young

"Alright everybody, no more drama, time to vote for either Rachel or Mercedes," Schue clapped his hands, the time had come.

Blaine leaned over, whispering to me, "Surely the whole actually letting there be a vote is just causing more drama."

I whispered back, "That's why I'm voting for Rachel, I figured if she lost she would throw a massive hissy fit whereas Mercedes might be a little cooler about it."

Then Santana chimed in, "Excuse me Schuester, before we can another pointless vote  in a meaningless contest that has absolutely no practical ramifications whatsoever, I would like to say some words about my good friend Rachel Berry.

Rachel smiled, almost so innocently. I knew from the tone of Santana's voice exactly what was about to go down.

"Rachel Berry is the most horrible human being on the planet," Santana happily announced.

"What?"

"Can it troll," Santana spat at her.

"Santana!" Schue shouted.

"You have sold half the people in this room down the river more times than I can count so you can get a solo or the lead in a musical, and I'm pretty sure that you don't know the names of the other half of the people."

Rachel quickly protested, "That's not true."

"All right," Santana nodded, before pointing to Ryder, "What is his name?"

"Rick," Rachel answered nervously.

"Exactly, thank you. See, you've all met Rachel, okay? But I've, I live with her. Let me tell you what it's like to share a bathroom with this stubby, undergrown little cretin. Someone in that apartment used to shave their face and leave their stubble in the sink, luckily she's learnt to clean herself up now, but we all know it wasn't Kurt, so do the math."

"That's a lie!" Rachel protested.

Santana wasn't finished, "You know what else is a lie? When you won Prom Queen."
