A Black and a Weasley

Chapter 51

It turns out that the surprise Remus had is store was us staying at Dad's which was amazing. I got to learn so much more about my dad and he told me stories about him and my mum when they were at Hogwarts. A couple of weeks ago, The Weasleys and Mione arrived which was great as I missed them all a lot and it does gets really boring around here as there's loads of Order meetings but children aren't allowed in because apparently we aren't old enough. Earlier today, we got news that there was an attack with dementors involving Harry and his cousin and because Harry used a Pratonus charm he was expelled from Hogwarts so a few order members have gone to get him.At the moment everyone seems to be downstairs doing who knows what while we wait for Harry to return, but I'm currently reading my book in peace and quiet.

"Harry!"Mione shouts as Harry walks in and she literally flings her arms around him "Are you alright? We overheard them talking about the Dementor attack.You must tell us everything" Mione rambles of to him as he walks further into the bedroom

"Let the man breathe, Hermione" Ron tells her

"Amd this hearing at the ministry. It's just outrageous, me and Lola looked it up and they simply can't expel you. It's completely unfair"Mione continues to tell Harry

"Yeah"Harry mutters "There's a lot of that going round at the moment. So what is this place"Harry asks us

"It's Headquarters of the order of the Phoenix. It's a secret society Dumbledore formed it back when they fought you know who" I explain to Harry who walks around the other side of the bed.

"Couldn't have put any of this in a letter I suppose? I've gone all summer without a scrap of news"Harry says to us

"We wanted to write mate. Really we did only-"Ron starts to say

"Only what?" Harry asks

"Only Dumbledore made us swear not to tell you anything" I tell him

"Dumbledore said that? But why would he want to keep me in the dark? Maybe I could help after all I'm the one who saw Voldemort return the one who fought him, who saw Cedric Diggory get killed"Harry asks us as we hear a pop and the twins are standing either side of him

"Harry"Fred says to him

"Thoight we heard your dulcet tones" George then tells him

"Don't bottle it up, though let it out" Fred says

"If your all done shouting "George starts

"Do you wanna hear something a little more interesting?"Fred finishes

"if anyone has a right to know it's Harry. If it wasn't for Harry we wouldn't even know Voldemort was back . He's not a child Molly"We hear dad say as we use The extendable ear which is one of the products the twins made as we listen in on the order meeting

"But he's not an adult either, he's not a James Sirius" Mrs Weasley argues back

"Well he's not your son"Dad tells her

"He's as good as. Who else has he got"Molly asks as Ginny joins us so I move other a bit so she can fit in

"Hey, Ginny"Harry tells her and she waves at him

"He's got me"Dad says

"How touchingly paternal, Black. Perhaps Potter will grow up to be a felon just like his godfather"Snaps says to my Dad

"You stay out of this Snivellus" Dad hisses at him

"Snape's part of the order?"Harry asks us

"Git"Ron mutters as Crookshanks sees the other end of the ear and starts attacking it and George tries to pull it up but Crookshanks pulls it down and the ear snaps off

"Well, we'll be eating down in the kitchen"Mrs Weasley says as we walk down the stairs and then Fred and George apparate right behind her smiling "Just because you're allowed to do magic now does not mean you have to whip your wands out for everything" She shouts to them as they walk into the kitchen and I follow in behind them sitting with Remus and Dad.

"This is very, very peculiar it seems your hearing in the Ministry is to be before the entire wizengamot"Mr Weasley tells Harry as I see Tonks shifting her face into animals faces

"I don't understand what has the ministry of magic got against me?"Harry asks confused

"Show him. He'll find out soon enough"Moody says and Kingsley hands him the Daily Prophet

"He's been attacking Dumbledore as well"Dad tells Harry as he reads the Prophet

"Fudge is using all his power, including his influence at the daily prophet to smear anyone who claims the Dark Lord has returned" Remus explains

"Why?" Harry asks

"Simple because he could loose his job. If people find out Voldemort has returned while the Ministry is under the eyes of Fudge then it won't look to good for him and he could potentially be sacked. Also, it's not like Fudge wants everyone one at the Ministry finding out in case Voldemort tried to take over it so people would quit their jobs there. And of course we can't go around telling people because Tonks, Remus and Mr Weasley could loose their jobs Moody is supposed to be mad as a hatter and everyone thinks Dad is some mass murederer" I explain and by the end of it everyone is looking at me shocked "That's right I know stuff" I says as I take a sip of my drink

"Brains just like her mother"Dad says with a smile

"Also he thinks Dumbledore is after his job"Remus adds

"But that's insane no one in their right mind would believe that"Harry says

"Exactly the point. Fudge isn't in his right mind it's been twisted and warped by fear. Now fear makes people to terrible things Harry the last time Voldemort gained power he almost destroyed everything we hold most dear. Now he's returned and I'm afraid the minister will do almost anything to avoid facing that terrifying truth" Remus explains in depth to Harry

"We think Voldemort wants to build up his army again. Fourteen years ago, he had urge numbers at his command and not just witches and wizards but all manner of dark creatures. He's been recruiting heavily and we've been attempting to do the same but gathering followers isn't the only thing he's interested in. We believe Voldemort may be after something" Dad explains to us all

"Sirius"Moody says warningly

"Something he didn't have last time"Dad finishes

"You mean like a weapon?"Harry asks dad

" No that's enough. He's just a boy. You says much more and you might as well indict him into the order"Mrs Weasley tells dad as she comes over and Takeshita the paper of Harry

"Good. I want to join. If Voldemort is raising an army then I want to fight "Harry tells everyone with confidence
