Chapter 56

We decided that if we want to pass our OWLs and be prepared for Voldemort then we need an actual teacher who has had experience with defending themselves against the Dark Arts and who better to have than Harry.

"Who'd want to be taught by me I'm a nutter remember?"Harry asks us as we walk down to the pub through the snow in Hogsmede

"Look on the bright side you can't be any worse than old toad face"Ron tells Harry

"Thanks Ron"Harry mutters

"I'm here for you mate"Ron says to Harry

"Whose supposed to be meeting us then?"Harry asks

"Just a few people" I reply as Ron opens the pub door where we see a man sitting at the bar with a few goats at his feet

"Lovely spot"Ron sarcastically says

"Thought it would be safer off the beaten track" Mione says as we walk in and sit down and it's not long after we do when loads of people come in and join us

"A few people you said"Harry whispers to me

"The idea must have been popular besides the more the merrier" I tell him

"Hi. So you all know why we're here we need a teacher, a proper teacher. One who's had experience defending themselves with the Dark Arts" I say standing up

"Why?"A boy asks

"Why? Because You-Know-Who's back you tosspot"Ron tells the boy

"So he says"The boy says

"So Dumbledore says"Mione says

"So Dumbledore says because he says. The point is where's the proof? If Potter could tell us more about how Diffory got killed"The boy continues

"I'm not gonna talk about Cedric so if that's why your here, clear out now"Harry says standing up "Come on Lola. They're here because they think I'm some kind of freak"Harry whispers to me

"Is it true you can produce a Patronus Charm?"Luna asks Harry

"Yes. I've seen it" I tell her

"Blimey, Harry I didn't know you could do that"Dean says

"And he killed a basilisk with the sword in Dumbledore's office"Neville adds in

"Its true"Ginny says

"Third year he fought off about a hundred dementors at once"Ron says

"Last year he really did fight off you-know-who in the flesh"Mione says

"Wait. It all sounds great when you say it like that but the truth is most of that was just luck, I didn't know what I was doing half the time and I nearly always had help"Harry explains

"He's just being modest"Mione says to everyone

"No Hermione I'm not. Facing this stuff in real life is not like school. In school if you make a mistake you can just try again tomorrow. But out there when you're a second away from being murdered or watching a friend die right before your eye. You don't know what that's like"Harry continues to explain to everyone

"Your right Harry we don't. That's why we need your help if we're gonna have any chance of beating Voldemort" I say sitting down

"He's really back"A boy asks us and Harry nods and it's not long before everyone starts agreeing and signs their names on the piece of parchment that Mione has enchanted so it won't fall into the wrong hands.

"Right first we need to find a place to practice where Umbridge won't find out" Harry says as we walk across the bridge

"The Shrieking Shack"Ginny suggests

"Its too small" I say to her

"Forbidden forest?"Mione asks

"Not bloody likely"Ron says to her

"Harry what happens if Umbridge does find out?"Ginny asks

"Who cares it's sort off exciting isn't it breaking the rules"Mione says with a laugh

"Who are you and what have you done with Hermione Granger?"I ask her with a smile

"Well at least we know one positive thing that came from today"Mione says

"What's that"Harry asks her

"Cho couldn't keep her eyes of you could she?"Mione asks Harry who grins

"Right over the next few days we should each come up with a few possible places to practice but it has to be somewhere where Umbridge won't find out"Harry says as we walk into the castle
