Chapter 26

Nagsisigaw ako at halos maputol na ang ugat ko sa leeg ng basta nalang akong kinarga ni Braxten na para bang isa akong sako ng bigas pagkatapos niya akong posasan.

"Damn it, don't move too much! You'll fall!"

"Jerk! Ibaba mo ako! Di ko alam anong nakain mo pero tigilan mo na ako! We both are better without each other's existence! Masaya na ako! Masaya na!" I scream as I move my whole body.

He cussed when he almost lost his balance, mas humigpit pa ang hawak niya sa akin kaya mas lalo akong di makagalaw. I heard him opening a door and aftet a couple of steps he closed it.

"Ibaba mo ako!" I scream.

He sigh and drop me. Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin, pasimple kong nilibot ang aking paningin sa kabuuan ng lugar, nasa kwarto kami! I am now on the top of a bed, with my hands being cuffed!

"Ano ba talagang gusto mo?! Can't you stop being a jerk? Even just for now? Huh!?"

Pagod siyang umupo sa sofang pang-isahang tao lang nasa harapan ko, bahagya niya pa itong hinila palapit sa kama kung nasan ako. I tried to kick him but my legs won't reach him.

"Lalaine, stop wasting your energy. We're on a damn airplane right now, so even without the handcuffs you can't run away from me."

I kicked him again, even though I know it won't work. "Eh anong gusto mong gawin ko? I-enjoy nalang ang lahat ng ito? Did you forget? I hate you! Who else would enjoy being with the person they hated the most? Huh?!"

He massaged the center of his brows using his index finger while his eyes are closed. He seems tired. But who cares?! Damn him! Kung pagod pala siya ay bakit niya pa ako ginanito?! Bullshit!

"Stop talking now, I am really tired, I didn't get enough sleep, so please..." he plead.

I snorted. "So your tired? But you chose to pester me instead of sleeping? You're ridiculous!"

"I can't sleep knowing your engaged, Lalaine."

Napaawang ang bibig ko, so he knew? "H-how did you know? Are you stalking me?!" Pang-aakusa ko.

"I have connections." Simple niyang sabi habang naka-pikit padin.

"Tell the pilot to land at the nearest airport! Gamitin mo iyang koneksyon mo! I don't want to be at the same place with you! You asshole!"

He opened his eyes and took a deep breath before looking at me. I gave him a glare but he gave me the opposite, and I hate how calm and confident he is right now. He looks tired yet ready and active.

"Look, I know your just bored, Okay? But please Braxten, Ikakasal na ako, leave me alone, let me live the life I want." Mas kalmado kong sabi.

His eyes carried so much emotions that I can't name. He just stared at me, not saying any word.

"Do I have to beg? Braxten, let me just go... I am getting married to the man I-"

"Stop it. Don't you know your words are... breaking me?" Sabi niya habang nakatingin sa mga mata ko.

Kitang kita ko ang sakit sa mga mata niya, pero tang'na lang! Mabilis nag-init ang ulo ko dahil sa sinabi niya. Why is he acting like he's being dumped by me? Why is he acting like the damn victim!

"Wow! Ang kapal, tang'na." Mura ko habang pagak na tumawa.  "You broke me first, remember?" I gritted my teeth. "And the funny thing is, you broke me when I am already broken."
