Chapter 50: Valentines week part 4

-Rachel pov-
It's leaving day of our apartment living. I honestly am not ready to go home. We've got everything we could ever want right here. We've got Amelia and enough rooms for us.

SHIT! I feel anxiety rush through me. We didn't tell the moms about Amelia. We just had Sue move stuff in. I look at the baby in my arms. We can't lose her after we just got her.

I've got a plan. I sneak to the car keys and sneak outside. I get the baby buckled and start the car. I look to the doors and see my girlfriends run out. I hear them yelling but quickly back away and drive.

I won't lose Amelia after just getting her. Not chance in hell I will.

-Time skip-Shelby pov-
"I miss Florida already" I walk in with a mopping Maribel "I don't wanna be in Ohio"

"Oh get over it" She pouts and I turn toward Judy "Did we leave a rug going down the stairs?"

"No" We walk toward the new rug that trails down the stairs "They look clean too!"

"You have a moving dishwasher?!" We share a confused look and run to the kitchen "This is amazing!"

"Did we get reverse robbed?" Maribel picks up a juicer "Cause this is new"

I hear the front door open and slam "MOMS?!" Santana soon runs in looking frantically around "Lucy and I can't find Rachel or Amelia!"

"Amelia?" I look at everyone and they shrug just as confused "Who's Amelia?"

"Our daughter" I raise a eyebrow and Santana takes a step back "Uhhh we told you right?"

"No you didn't" I take a step toward her "So let's talk about Amelia while we go search for my baby girl"

Santana gulps as Maribel walks toward her. Santana gets a smack on the back of the head as Mari walks away. I have a granddaughter. How do I have a granddaughter?

Why wouldn't Rachel tell me?

-Rachel pov-
I pull into the driveway of where I wanted to be. I get out and run up to the door with Amelia. I knock on the door and look around. I hope I wasn't followed.

"Hang on!" Theres footsteps and soon the door is opened "Uh hello Rachel! Who's this little bundle of joy?"

"I need a place to hide Carol" I'm given a confused look "I didn't tell my moms about adopting Amelia and I'm scared"

"Oh" I look past her and see Kurt "Let her in mom"

Carol looks hesitant but sighs. I walk in and look at Kurt. Kurt points downstairs and I quickly go. I hear him start whispering and soon he's downstairs too.

"I don't have anything to say to you still" He nods and sits in a chair "You pretty much got me raped"

"I have never been more ashamed of myself than now" He sighs and I see the sincerity on his face "I've lost everyone in my life...my dad looks at me with disgust! I know my mom would've been disappointed and what I did at sectionals was wrong...I could apologize but I know it won't mean anything"

"Blaine came back" Kurt looks at me confused "He's in the club"

"I see" Kurt shows a small and sad smile "He's a good guy"

"You were too" I look at Amelia in my arms "Why did you lock me in the room with Mercedes?"

"It was supposed to just stop at making out" Kurt sighs "Mercedes got me to leave the doorway and we walked away from the door...I didn't know till Puck grabbed us"

"I see" I sit down in a chair with Amelia "We can work on forgiveness"

"Thank you" He smiles at me and looks at Amelia "So you're hiding the baby? Why?"

"We adopted her and forgot to tell the moms" I sigh and look down at Amelia "I can't lose her"

"You've got a good heart Rachel" I look and smile at Kurt "I think you should go home and face the music..your mom and Judy will understand! They love you so much! I know they'll love that little girl too Rachel"

"You're right" I stand up and look at the stairs "Those are not a pregnant girls friend"

"Where is she?" I look at Kurt with a glare when I hear my mom "Carol is she still here?"

"You needed to confront them" Kurt stands up with a small smile "You'll thank me later"

"I'm sure" he chuckles and I turn toward the stairs "I guess it's now or never"

I slowly walk up with Amelia. I stop though when I see Finn trying to calm down my mom. I feel all eyes soon on me. I look straight at Finn.

"Hello" He nods and looks at Amelia the my stomach "This is an adopted baby and Juniper is still fine"

"That's good" Finns looks at Carol "I'll be in my room"

Finn starts to walk past me "Finn" He stops and turns toward me "Be safe out there"

"I will" He gives me a small smile "You be safe here ok?"

"I will" With that he walks away and I turn to my mom "I'm ready to go home"

She nods and I thank Carol. Shelby sends out a text as I get into my car. I see Santana in Shelby passenger seat. She looks at me and mouths 'You owe me'.

-Time skip-
When we get to the house and I park Santana takes Amelia out. I get out and pulled immediately into a hug. I feel Lucy's tears on my shirt. I run her back while she lets it out.

"You scared me!" She pulls back and I see her puffy eyes "I was so scared that you'd get hurt and I'd lose my babies! I was scared I was going to lose you! I thought we had everything talked out and then you just snuck away and drove!"

"I'm sorry" I look at Santana holding Amelia "I remembered about the moms and got scared"

"Well now we have to answer" Santana walks to the door "Come on"

I grab Lucy's hand and follow her inside. We walk inside and I notice no one is around. Santana keeps going toward the stairs so I close the door. I follow her upstairs and to the room we made a nursery.

"Wow" I look around the room "Sue did a great job"

"So Sue did all of this?" I nod and mom looks around "She did do a great job"

"So this is our granddaughter?" I look over at Judy who's holding Amelia and nod "She's pretty"

"Who all knows?" I look over at Maribel confused "I just wanna know who knew before us"

"Fran and Emma" I smack Lucy's arm "Sorry! I was nervous!"

"Remind me to kill them" Judy smiles as she always with Amelia "I love this little girl already"

I smile as the moms both flock to Judy. I look over and see Holly standing away. She looks hesitant. She's acting like she shouldn't be here or shouldn't go over and look at Amelia with them.

"Holly?" She looks over at me "You can look at her with them"

"I dont wanna intrude" She looks over at them "I can see from back here"

"You're apart of us now" I look at mom confused and she rolls her eyes "Ok so we both have ignored sharing news!"

"How is she fed?" I blush and so does Lucy "What?"

"We have some breast milk the mom left" Santana points toward the door "It's in the deep freeze"

Mom looks back at Amelia "So will she switch over to yours when you start to milk?" I fee my blush rise and two pairs of eyes on my chest "It's things you must think about"

"I-I guess she will" I really haven't thought about that "I guess she could"

"We will talk with the doc tomorrow about it" I look over at Santana and not is the demeanor change "I'm back"

"So I get to thump Snixx too?" Maribel smacks Snixx in the back of the head "My days complete"

"Ow!" Snixx pouts "I wanna go back in the cage now"

I smile as everyone laughs. I should've just come home with them earlier. I can tell them about Kurt later. Right now it's family time. Right now it's fine not to talk about it.

Just keep the focus on Amelia and it'll be alright.
