Chapter 3

-Rachel pov-
I'm thinking they aren't going to join us. Beth is babbling and playing around in her walker while Brittany watches her with me. The outside theater mom has is huge! I hear the backdoor open and turn...wow.

"We just laying in the ground?" I nod and Quinn lays down to my left "Cool"

"Don't make me regret this" Santana lays down to my right "It's just like presummer stuff we do"

"I-I've never been apart of any presummer stuff" I look down at the ground "I've never really had friends that wanna do summer things with me or get comfortable enough to sunbathe naked"

"That would be our fault" I look up at Quinn who looks guilty "We always called you treasure trail and tranny...people probably didn't wanna even chance seeing something they didn't wanna"

"We really are sorry about that Rachel" Santana puts a hand on my shoulder "We promise to make up for it"

"Are we going to get the movie started?" We all look at Brittanys who laying on her back looking at the sky "My eyes are starting to hurt"

"Britt the screen is not in the sky" Brittany looks at Santana confused "It's over there"

"Oh!" Brittany lays on her stomach and looks at the screen "That's much better"

"Alright girls" Shelby comes out and sets up a chair before setting down food then turning on the movie "Here's food and a movie!"

"Looking good Miss C" She rolls her eyes at Santanas comment with a smirk and we grab a plate "Probably could be Rachel's twin like that"

"You flatter me" Santana chuckles as Shelby picks up Beth "But why don't you try that flattery on the other one?"

I can see Santana blush and turn away from her. I raise a confused eyebrow as Santana goes back to her spot. I look over at Quinn who is checking me out. This raises confusion some more.

"Quinn" She doesn't look up at my face "Quinn the food is on the table"

"Of course" She looks at me and then quickly fills her plate "I know that!"

She is soon laying in her spot again. I look back at my mom who is losing it. I look back over at Santana and Quinn confused. They've both checked me out now...are they trying to find something to make fun of me for? Oh god this was a mistake!

"Settle down Rachel" I look back at my mom "Whatever you're thinking isn't true"

"Well why else would they be staring at my body?" My mom smirks and raises a eyebrow "Wha-....oh...OH! No way!"

"I didn't say anything" Mom nods for the movie "Now get your food and sit down!"

I grab my food and slowly walk back over to my spot. I lay down on my stomach between Quinn and Santana. I feel more nervous now than I did earlier. They aren't looking at me to make fun of me. They are looking at me cause they want me.

I can't ruin this friendship of theirs though. I won't be responsible for destroying the unholy trinity. I'm going to have to tell them I don't feel the same! This is going to be terrible.

-Time skip-Santana pov-
I gotta say Funny girl and sunbathing is not a bad combo. We are currently lying on the ground right now in silence. Every glance I sneak at Rachel she looks like she's thinking hard.

"What's going on in your head Rachel?" She looks up at me and I see the frown forming "Rach?"

"I can't be with either one of you two" My air catches and I hear Quinn start coughing "I don't wanna be the reason you two start fighting! I-I can't be the reason your friendship ends! I understand if you wanna leave or if you tell everyone about how I look...just please don't stop being friends"
