Chapter 52: Regionals part 2

-Snixx pov-
It's been almost a hour and everyone is searching. We can't find Rachel anywhere. The judges are waiting another few minutes before calling us disqualified. So now we really need to find her.

The audience and other clubs are helping out. Well minus the kid names Sebastian. He's just being a asshole about things. Blaine doesn't seem to like him.

Santana ran away numb when Rachel left. She wouldn't let her near her. She wouldn't let her calm her down. So now I'm here.

I sigh and look around the parking lot. I stop when I notice a familiar jacket. I walk over and pick it up. It's got a gold star inside it. I look around for my star.

I hear some tree shuffling and start walking forward. I soon am in a fighting stance. Out of the brush comes Mercedes Jones. I thought these goons got arrested when they came in.

"Calm down" Mercedes coughs and holds her side "I didn't hurt you girl"

"Then why are you hiding?" Mercedes looks away "Come on! There was a good girl in you at one point! We all used to be friends deep down! Where is Rachel?!"

"She's here" I turn and see Finn walking over with Rachel "You all need to get inside"

I'm about to ask questions when police sirens go. I turn toward Mercedes and she looks away. I look at Finn and he nods to the building. I slowly approach Rachel.

She flinches when I touch her but soon hugs me tightly. I wrap my arms around her and walk into the school. Finn walks away with Mercedes shortly behind him. I walk Rachel toward the group.

"RACHEL!" Lucy starts running over but I hold my arm out as Rachel starts to panic "W-what's going on?"

"I don't know" I sigh and motion for everyone to move "Let's get the trophy first and figure this out later"

"I wanna fi~"

"You really think she's gonna talk if we really get disqualified?" Shelby shakes her head no and sighs "Let's go"

We all walk back in silently with the crowd. I see the sad expressions they all cast our way. I see Kurt on the phone before he throws it. I slowly turn toward Rachel.

"Can you go to Lucy real quick?" She looks up at me and nods "Go on"

Lucy holds her arms out and Rachel is quickly in them. Even more sad expressions are thrown. I walk toward Kurt as he sits on the ground. I sit down beside him.

"Mercedes changed her mind" Kurt sighs "She'll be going to jail along with Shuester but she'll get a shorter time"

"What happened?" Kurt doesn't look at me "Kurt?"

"We came to the school when you were away" Kurt shakes his head "Will came everyday looking for you girls...I finally realized what he wanted to do..he wanted to cause as much pain to you as you did to him"

"He lost everything" I feel anger start to bubble "What was he going to do?"

"I honestly don't know" Kurt looks at me and I see his not lying "I left after I saw Will had changed"

"I'll tell you all later" I look up and see Finn "You've got a group to be with"

I nod and he helps me up. I slowly walk away and to the backstage. I walk up to my girlfriends and wrap my arm around them. The main judge finally walks up.

"This has certainly been a regionals we all will not forget" I feel Rachel tense "In third place we have the golden goblets! In second place we have...this is correct?...in second place is Dalton Warblers! Which means your winners are the McKinley Trouble Tones!"
