Three days later

"Pass me your quill," Kiara said, ripping a page out of an old grand book, splayed out in the restricted section of the library.

"How has she been with you?" Draco asked, handing her the pen.

"She's not spoken to me in days. And when she does it's only with snide remarks."

"I'm sorry Ki, this is more about me than it is you."

"It's not ideal but like you said, she'll get over it." She smiled, reassuringly.

"I wish I could've just given in. Maybe one day I can."

"Is that faith I detect in your tone?" She murmured, grinning as she began to scribble some final notes down. "I'm impressed."

"Yes well, I might've taken a very small leaf out of your book. I just want this to work. As soon as it can."

"I'm glad you're not seeing Pansy anymore by the way, she tripped Adele over yesterday and she nearly fell down the whole staircase. Her jealousy and lack of grace is certainly not a virtue."

"What's a virtue?"

"Patience, ideally. And you'll need a lot of that if we're going to try and uncover the Dark Lord's plans over the next few years."

"I'll wait, however long it takes. I wouldn't worry about my stalker, Pansy is harmless. She's like a rat on stilts; quite a horrific sight, posing as larger than she is and living in the constant fear of being able to fall under anyone's push."

"Draco!!" The two laughed, for a moment forgetting the reason they were sat in a hidden section of the library in the first place.

The Great Hall

"I don't understand, what's happened between you two, you're best friends!" Georgia shook her head at Adele, who was stabbing salad with her fork unsuccessfully.

"Why can't you just tell me what's going on already? We're leaving next week! You have to make it up with her by then."

"I have no idea what you're referring too G,"

"You and Ki!"

"What about me and Ki?"

"The tension?!"

"What tension?"

Georgia huffed, slumping back in her chair.

"I'm sick of all these lies."

"You're telling me," Adele mumbled.

"What did you say?"

"Hey guys!" Fred interrupted Georgia, arriving with his twin and sitting next to the Hufflepuffs.

"Christmas came early, we're here." George added, putting an arm around Georgia, causing her to swat him away.

"Not here," She hummed.

"Oh come on G, everyone knows by now you two are a thing." Fred chuckled.

"What?!" She panicked, pulling away from the Gryffindor. "No they don't."

"Yes they do," George smiled at his love, attempting to take her hand.

"I- I need to go," she said, suddenly rising from her bench and rushing out of the door. Adele glanced between the twins, baffled. What was up with her?

The Library

"All we need is to find her," Kiara started. "The task is simple, you said Bellatrix had vanished months ago, we could be looking at the very key to his undoing!"
