MARC'S POV

Isang napakahiwagang pagkakataon ang nadaanan ko ngayon. After a long time, ngayon ko lang ulit naramdaman yung pagkakagaan ng loob ko since nawala si Mom. She's like mom. She's making me happy all the times. She's making me laugh whenever I'm feeling down. Para akong nasa isang malalim na balon dahil sa lalim ng kakaisip ko sakanya. Am I seriously in love with her? I'm terrified. But why should I?

We are gathered here today, on this happy and joyous occasion, to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony.

Marriage is a solemn institution to be held in honor by all, it is the cornerstone of the family and of the community. It requires of those who undertake it a complete and unreserved giving of one's self. It is not to be entered into lightly, as marriage is a sincere and mutual commitment to love one another. This commitment symbolizes the intimate sharing of two lives and still enhances the individuality of each of you.

Groom, do you take this woman to be your wedded wife? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to her as long as you both shall live? Father asked.

"Yes, father." I answered.

Bride, do you take this man to be your wedded husband? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to him as long as you both shall live?

I don't hear any answers from her. Tears coming down from her eyes. I hear her sobs. Until.... she ran away from me. She ran faster & faster...like there's someone catching her behind. I must follow her. I need her for the rest of my life. And so I followed her quickly, trying to pull her closer to mine. But...when I got out from the church' door, I don't see her anymore. Where did she go?

I look straight forward & on my right side. No one's there. I look on my left side. No on'es there. I tried to go somewhere in the garden across the church. I'm in a place of nowhere, I guess. I look subtly onto the big tree at the center of the garden. I saw a red dress budging behind the tree. I guess someone's hiding there. I promptly walked closer to the tree. I hear a girl's sob. Sobbing like my bride just earlier. I saw her, a lady wearing a red dress covering her face with her two hands while keeping on sobbing. But wait, why she's crying too?

"Hey, why are you crying? And.. what are you doing here...alone?" I asked her.

She released her hands covering her face & I saw her face. Beautiful lady. Teary & bright eyes looking at me like she's asking sympathy on me. She's familiar. I think we already met before.

" Please don't marry her. I love you." she asked, while letting herself get close to mine & hug me tightly, very tightly.

I pull myself away from her. I hold her face & wipe her tears. I kissed her lips softly & gently. She pull herself away & run towards the very daunting light infront of me. I called her name & tried to follow her. "Akiko!" But she's gone. How did I call her with her name as if I didn't know who she is at the first place? Akiko. Akiko. Very familiar. I'm screaming for a cry. I don't want to lose her. Never.

Pinagpapawisan ako. Di ako makagalaw nang maayos. "Akiko!" sigaw ko habang napabangon ako bigla sa kinahihigaan ko. Damn, I shouted her name! Just a dream!
