19 | Morning Rendezvous

Mia woke up with a headache and the urge to throw up. She quickly ran towards the bathroom ignoring the fact that she just stepped on a boy, sleeping peaceful on the floor.

James groaned due to the fact that Mia stepped on his groin but he was more worried about the girl throwing her guts out.

Mia felt a pair of callous hands caressing her back. A hand was on her back and the other one was holding her hand back.

"That's what you get for eating candy for dinner."

"Every good thing has a price." Mia said, amused.

"Why were you even eating all the candy last night?" James asked, almost scolding her.

Mia stood up to wash her face before facing the brown hair boy. "Sirius was sad. Candy's my comfort food so I shared it with him."

James was taken a back by her gesture towards one of his best friends. "That's nice." he said.

I nodded. "If you'll excuse me, I must be getting back to my dorm. I'll see you later." she left before James could even reply.

Mia entered her dorm seeing a frantic Lily and a amused Marlene. Once they caught the sight of the brunette, Lily quickly hugged her before smacking the back of her head.

"Ow! What was that for?" Mia hissed as she massaged her head.

"For making me worry." Lily shot back. "We get here in the morning without you here or anywhere. Where were you?"

"Probably with Regulus." Marlene wriggled her eyebrows.

"I wasn't with Regulus. I was at James' dorm." Mia casually said.

Lily gasped and Marlene squealed. Before they could even say anything Mia explained everything that happened yesterday minus the letter from her uncle. From Regulus not being able to attend their date to waking up in James' bed.

"That's nice of you to give Sirius your candy considering you're selfish when it comes to your candy." Lily chuckled.

"I'm not much of a sharer? So what?" Mia shrugged.

"Can we go to breakfast? I'm famished." Marlene groaned.

"You two go. I'll take a shower first." Mia said before she entered the shower.

She took a quick shower before putting on a pair of black tights and a white jumper, partnered with black sneakers. She dried her hair before straighten her it.

She saw Regulus outside the Great hall. Regulus was waiting for her. To explain why he didn't came yesterday and to apologize.

"Hey." The black hair boy cooed.

"Hey."

"Look, I'm so—"

"You don't have to apologize, Regulus. I know." Mia offered a small smile. "I'm sorry for you loss." she said, pulling him into her embrace.

He stiffened but quickly recovered and wrapped his arms around her waist, placing his head on the crook of her neck.

Regulus felt warm, comfortable, and euphoric in her arms. He wished he could stay in her arms forever.
