26 | New Year's Eve Part 1
"You actually saw Sirius naked?" Remus asked, still holding his laughter.
"Don't make me repeat myself. It's gross. I saw him bloody naked." Mia shuddered once again before she chopped up vegetables.
Mia and Remus were cooking dinner since Euphemia and Fleamont attended a New Year's Eve party. They left Mia and Remus on charge since they were the most responsible ones.
"Is Haven and Sirius together?" Mia asked curiously.
"Honestly, I don't know what they are. They aren't..... exclusive." Remus said. "Anyway, how was your Christmas?"
Mia smiled a little. "It was fun. I really enjoyed it. " she happily said, thinking about her cousins. "How was yours?"
"Great. We attended a Christmas party. I saw a girl there. She was familiar but I didn't get a chance to ask for her name." Remus said.
"Why didn't you?" Mia asked as she cooked the caramel for dessert.
"She left before I could even ask." he shrugged.
"Is Peter coming?" Mia asked.
"No. He's been traveling with his family."
"How's dinner going?" Sirius asked as he entered the kitchen with James and Haven.
"Good." Remus and Mia said in unison.
"Can you one of you step up the table?" Mia asked. "Dinner will be in a bit."
"I'll do it." Haven offered.
"I'll come with." Sirius smirked as he followed the blonde girl to the dining room.
"Keep it in your pants, Sirius!" Mia yelled.
"Fuck off, Amy!"
Remus and Mia looked at each other before laughing.
"What's going on?" James asked.
"You didn't tell James?" Remus asked and Mia shook her head causing Remus to snort at her.
"Did something happened?" James asked, annoyed that he was missing out.
"She saw Sirius naked. Literally naked." Remus started to laugh. "In the drawing. They were about to have sex. Haven and Pads."
James' nose creased. "Gross! Pads!"
James was about to go out but Mia grabbed him by the arm.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Mia advised. "Wait for them to come back here or wait until you don't hear moaning."
"You have a dirty, dirty mind, Mia." James smirked.
The teenagers went up to their rooms to change for dinner. According to Euphemia, girls are require to wear a floor length dress and boys are required to wear dress robes and she wanted pictures.
Mia was deciding on two gowns. A white gown with sparkles embedded on the gown and a lace top and lace sleeves, it was also backless. The other one was is a sky blue strapless gown with a slit that reached up to her thigh, it was simple.
Mia grabbed the sky blue one and slipped into it. She wore black heels. She suddenly felt the urge to get something from her. She curled her hair and put a make up. She pulled out the necklace her father gave her, the one that belongs to her grandmother. I grabbed the necklace and wore it around her neck. She stared at the mirror, admiring the necklace.
A knock on the door made her gaze avert to the door. James entered his eyes quickly meeting her blue ones. James' eyes wandered down her body.
"Eyes up here, Potter." Amelia sneered.
His faced heated up before faking a cough. "Everyone is downstairs. We should eat before the countdown starts."
"James, midnight is in a hour away." Mia informed. "But we should have dinner. I'm famished."
James offered his arm to her before the walked down the stairs which Mia gladly took.
"You look ravishing, Amelia."
She grinned at the bespectacled boy. "You cleaned up well, James."
"Hurry up, you two! We need to take some pictures!" Sirius yelled.
They all gathered together, letting the house elve take a picture of the five of them. After the group photo.
"Can I have a picture with Mia?" James requested.
Sirius grabbed the camera, gesturing for the two to get close to each other. James grabbed Mia by the waist, pulling her close to him causing her to yelp.
"What are you doing, James?" Mia whispered.
"Making memories, Amelia." James smirked.
"3... 2...1... Smile!"
