34 |Keep Telling Yourself That
Mia was strolled through the corridors when a pair of hands pulled her inside an empty classroom.
"You seriously have to stop doing that." Mia narrowed her eyes at the black hair boy. Her features softened when he pecked her lips.
"Sorry about the entire school knowing about us." Regulus said, wrapping his arms around her waist.
Mia shook her head. "It wasn't your fault. We don't know whose fault it is."
Regulus scratched the back of his head. "Avery was the one who spread the word about us. Sorry about that. I'll hex him if you want." he offered.
"What? No! It's fine. I don't mind. My brothers are on board with you and I'm kinda surprised they aren't hexing you." Mia casually said. "Now, let's head to class before we get late." Mia held his hand, pulling him out of the classroom.
Meanwhile, the Maruaders were inside their dorms. The three watched James, swiftly catching the snitch.
"Prongs?"
James hummed in response, glancing at Sirius.
"Are you alright?" Sirius asked, his voice full of concern.
James shrugged.
"Okay. I tried." Sirius said, standing up. "Let's go and prank Snivellus, James. It'll make you feel better."
James beamed before standing up. "I thought you'd never ask." James said before the two went running down.
Remus shook his head. "You can go, Peter. I'll be taking a nap." he yawned.
"I'll take a nap as well. I don't feel Ike pranking today." Peter said before getting into his bed.
Regulus and Mia was walking hand in hand as they went out of class. Students were whispering behind their backs, making rumors why a Slytherin would date a Gryffindor and vice versa. Mia didn't care about their stares while Regulus glared at anyone who looked wrongly at them.
"Wanna go to Hogsmeade with me this Saturday?" Regulus casually asked.
"I can't. I'm studying. You can suggest with me, if you want." Mia offered.
"Okay but I'd like to take you on a date." Regulus said before kissing her cheek.
"Black, Avery needs us." Evan Roiser said.
Regulus glanced at Mia before nodding. "I'll be there." he said with no expression.
Evan nodded at Mia before leaving.
"I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow, love." Regulus pecked her lips before leaving her.
It was almost midnight and Mia was preparing to leave her dorm to meet up with her brothers. Something intrigued her. The secrets of her brothers intrigued her. She still was deciding whether to tell them about Gabriel or lie to them.
The marauders were down at the common room, planning their next prank. They didn't noticed Mia leaving except for James and Remus.
"Have you talked to her, Prongs?" Remus whispered.
"About?" James asked, stupidly.
"How you feel about her." Remus casually said. "Romantic feelings."
"I don't have those. I was just out of my mind because I let Lily go. That's why I kissed Mia." James said, like he was trying to convince himself.
"You keep telling yourself that and you might believe it, Prongs." Remus smugly said as the bespectacled boy rolled his eyes.
"What are you two whispering about?" Sirius asked as he narrowed his eyes at them.
"Nothing. Just asking Remus about the Hufflepuff girl." James lied.
"Do tell us about her, Moony." Sirius smirked.
Remus glared at the bespectacled boy. "Thanks a lot, Prongs." Moony grumbled.
Mia tried to avoid all the prefects who were patrolling tonight. Even if she was a prefect, she'll get in trouble for not being in bed in this hour.
She was the first one to arrive at the Astronomy Tower. She sighed before sitting down on the ground. She jumped when she heard a creak, only to see her brothers grinning at her.
"Gits." Mia huffed. "Anyway, what are we even doing here?"
Grayson and Damon looked at each other before sighing.
"We'll start." Grayson said.
"I'm a legilimens." Damon said nonchalantly.
