Epilogue

Ten years later

"Harry! Come on, son. We'll be leaving soon." James called out, slipping into his coat.

"Coming." Harry hollered as he ran down the stairs. "Are we meeting Elijah and Damian at Diagon Alley, dad?"

The bespectacled man nodded. "And your aunties and your uncle." he smiled. "I can't believe you're finally going to Hogwarts." James said, proudly, ruffling his son's hair.

"What house do you think mom would want me to be in?" Harry asked as they walked towards Flourish and Blotts. "Do you think she'll hate me if I'm not in Gryffindor?"

James frowned. "Of course not, James. I think your mother would be proud of you whether you are in Gryffindor or not. I know I'm so proud of you."

"I haven't even sorted."

"I know, I'm just so proud of you" James smiled.

"Harry!" Elijah hollered. "Good to know that you got your Hogwarts letter."

"We'll show you around the castle. Teach you the secret tunnels." Damian whispered. "Uncle James, mind if we go check out the broomsticks?"

"Not at all, go on now." James said.

"They grow up so fast, huh?" Haven said as she watched their children running away from them.

"It seems only yesterday they were only saying their first words." Savannah sighed.

"Still can't believe Harry's eleven now. You raised him well, Prongs." Remus said.

"I know." James said, smugly making his friends roll their eyes. "But still it would've been better if Lily was here, or Sirius, or.... Amelia."

"It's been 10 years, James. Are you still thinking about her?" Haven asked, curiously.

"Of course I'm stop thinking about her." James blurted out. "I still thinking if she's alive or not. If she's well. I spent almost two years trying to find her but I can't."

Ever since Amelia De Martel left without a note, James spent every hour of everyday for a year and a half trying to track her down. He stopped searching for her when Lily died. He was forced to stop and started taking care of his son.

"Maybe she doesn't want to be found, James. She was hurt by what you did. Although, leaving wasn't a solution, I still think it's valid." Savannah said, nonchalantly. "So, Remus, if you ever do that to me, I'm making her that you won't find Damian and I." she flashed him a smile.

Remus chuckled, kissing the side of her head. "I'll keep that in mind, Vanna."

After buying everything that was needed for the Harry's school year, they went home. James told his son to go and take a shower while he cooks dinner.

Harry went inside his father's room, trying to find his favorite shirt. He searched through the wardrobe, shuffling through the clothes of his father. He came upon a big wooden chest. Harry began to get curious on what was inside the chest.

Harry dragged the chest to his room before opening it. It was full of moving photographs. He laughed and smiled as he saw pictures of his father's youth. Something caught Harry's attention. A picture of his father with a woman he did not recognized. He turned the picture around.

New Year's Eve: First photo together

"Harry, I've been calling you for....." James trailed off as he saw his son holding out picture. "Where did you find that?" he asked.

"Your wardrobe. Sorry." Harry said, sheepishly.

James waved it off. "It's fine. You can just put it back when you're done."

"Dad." Harry called out.

"Hmmm?"

"Who's this woman in the photo?" Harry asked, showing him a picture of him and a woman at the Potter Manor.

James sighed. "A woman I knew back then. A close.... friend."

"How come she doesn't come here like auntie Haven or Auntie Savannah?" the boy asked, innocently.

"It's complicated, Harry. I'll explain to you once you're older."

A woman was walking around a village with child holding her right hand. They stopped in front of a house and started knocking on the door. It's been a year since the last time she was there. She figured it was time to see them again.

"Thank goodness you came!" Geneve grinned, pulling the woman into a hug. "And you brought Sierra."

"Nana!" Sierra hugged Geneve's leg.

"Where's Gabriel?" the woman asked.

"In the study. He's been waiting for you." Geneve said, holding Sierra's hand.

The woman crouched down to the eleven year old's level, giving her a warm smile. "You stay with Nana for a bit while I talk to Gabriel, okay?"

Sierra nodded. "Yes, mommy." she smiled.

She gave the girl a kiss on the cheek before heading up to the study. She didn't bother knocking, she just entered the study.

"Morticia." Gabriel grinned. "To what to I owe this pleasure?"

"I came to give you this." Amelia placed a silver case on top of Gabriel desk. "Esmeralda wanted you to have it."

Gabriel frowned. "Sorry for your lost."

"You don't have to keep saying that every time I come here. It happened ten years ago. You can't keep saying that."

"Finally going to tell me what happened ten years ago when you disappeared with tell anyone?" Gabriel tried to pry the truth out of her for years but she didn't break.

She rolled her eyes. "Please. I came here after a year and told you everything. Stop whining."

Morticia Amelia De Martel wasn't the same girl she was ten years ago. What happened to her, changed her life.

"What's thete left to say? We almost died again. We failed. We lost it." Mia said, bitterly. "The result that; someone died. "
