Mia De Martel

I groaned as I opened my eyes. My parents and my brothers were all sleeping in chairs. They look uncomfortable. I noticed that I wasn't in Hogwarts anymore. Am I inside St. Mungo's?

I tried to recall what happened. Snape dragging me to the Whomping Willow, the werewolf, and two animals behind him? Or was it three? I honestly can't remember much.

Damon opened his eyes and glanced at me for a moment. "Good morning, Mia." he said before closing his eyes again.

"Morning." I said causing all of them to wake up. "Is everything alright?" I curiously asked.

"You got into an accident, sweetie." Mom said.

They started to explain that James, Sirius, and Peter found me outside the dungeons unconscious. That's odd, why would they lie?

"Who brought me to the hospital wing?" I asked.

"Sirius Black." Grayson answered.

Sirius did? Really? He wasn't even in there when Snape dragged me. What's the bloody hell is going on?

I pushed the thought at the back of my head. "How long have I been here?"

"A month." Damon asked.

My eyes widen. "A month?" I exclaimed.

"No. Just two days." Damon grinned.

I narrowed my eyes at him. "Git." I huffed.

"There's more, Amelia." Dad lowly said. "Magic can't be used against you."

"Meaning?"

"Meaning that spells or charms can't be used to harm you, sweetheart." mom explained. "It can't be used to heal you as well."

"How's that even possible? That can't be possible, right?" I asked, confused.

I'm a witch. I'm just like everyone else but why can't magic be used against me. Don't get me wrong it's cool but it's odd. I guess I really am different.

"Seems like it's possible now." Dad muttered.

After two days I was allowed to get out of the hospital and I was allowed to go home. I spent a day there and my brothers and I will be leaving tomorrow. Mom didn't want to at first, she wanted me to stay for a whole but dad convinced her.

I was fixing my bed when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in." I said.

I stood up straight when my father walked inside my room. My week has just gotten odd. My father is walking inside my room.

"Dad."

"Amelia, I want you to have something." Dad softly said whilst handing me a small metal box.

It was a necklace. A round charm with sapphires on it. It was beautiful. The necklace looked familiar.

"Was this grandma's necklace?" I asked as I examined it.

Dad nodded. I wanted you to have it. I knew she would've wanted me to give it to you. " Dad smiled a bit." Stay safe, Morticia. When you feel danger, stay away from them. " Dad emphasized 'them'.

Dad smiled once more before leaving my room. Who's them? Who was dad talking about?

The voice of my brother snapped back into reality.

"Mia, are you ready? We're leaving." Damon announced.

I nodded. "How are things with you and Lily?" I asked.

He smirked. "Perfect. Completely perfect." he sighed.

"Are you going to introduce him to mum and dad?" I asked as we walked down the stairs.

"I like Lily. I'm sure mum will approve and dad probably won't." he bitterly said.

I placed my hand on his shoulder. "I'm sure there will be a time that dad will accept your relationship, Damon."

We said our goodbyes to our parents before we went back to Hogwarts. My brothers walked me back to the Gryffindor tower.

"Thanks for walking me here even though I didn't need it."

They rolled their eyes.

"Stay safe, idiot." Grayson ruffled my hair.

"Don't be an idiot again." Damon said.

I rolled my eyes. "Bye." I faced the fat lady. "Quidditch." I said before entering the Gryffindor common room.

My features hardened as I caught a sight of Sirius talking with a girl.

"Black, come with me." I lowly said.

"Mia—"

"I said with me, Black." I said in a low voice.

Sirius quickly followed me up to the marauders' dorm. I opened the door to see a shirtless James.

"Mia! What are you doing here?" James exclaimed.

"Put on a shirt. All of you has some bloody explaining to do."
