61 | A Deal and A Spy

A/N: I was kidding about this chapter to be bad. Last chapter for the day. Enjoy!!

Haven, James, Lily, Peter, Sirius, and Remus was outside the portrait of Lily's head girl chambers. The marauders didn't know what to do so they brought Mia to her brother.

They were worried about her. She kept disappearing and when she returned she was shaken up or just speechless.

"Calm down, Mia." Damon said, softly.

She scoffed. "Calm down? How could I bloody calm down? He knows my bloody secret! And now, he'll probably tell his goons about it!" Mia exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air.

"I know, okay!" Damon spat. "I'll have to teach you occlumency." Damon said as he started pacing around the room.

She furrowed her brows. "Pardon? Occlumency? Why?" Mia asked.

"Because I need you to ask Regulus for help. I need you to spy for us." Damon blurted out. "I read Avery's mind. You-know-who had given Regulus a mission last year during Christmas holiday to get close to you." Damon explained.

Mia was speechless.

"I know you read our grandfather's journal. I read your mind, obviously." Damon sighed. "I have to teach you occlumency. So that no one can ever read your mind. You need to keep that spell a secret. We both do."

"Why do I need to spy for you?" Mia asked, skeptical at her brother's request.

"Because I need to know what Regulus' plan for you. I need you to spy for me. No, for me Grayson and I. We'll make a plan for whatever Regulus is planning." Damon said, calmer than he should be.

Mia sighed in defeat. "Fine. I'll let you teach me occlumency and I'll spy for you."

"Good. Meet me at every night from Monday to Friday after dinner ." Damon said before walking towards the portrait hole. "And don't tell anyone. We don't need anyone else finding out." he added before leaving her. Mia followed her brother out.

"Is everything alright?" Lily asked.

"Yes, love. Everything is fine. Just a bit of a misunderstanding, that's all." Damon smiled sweetly at his girlfriend before giving her a quick kiss, making everyone look at them with disgust evident on their faces.

"That's disgusting." Mia commented. "Prongs, can you talk to you?"

"Sure. Let's talk inside." gesturing at his head boy dorm.

"We'll see you back in the common room, Mia." Remus said before he walked away with Sirius and Haven.

"We better go to, love." Lily said, pulling Damon inside her dorm, giggling.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" James asked as they entered the room.

"Do you remember when you told me that you would do anything to help me?" Mia asked.

James nodded. "Yes."

"I need you to help me become an animagi."

His forehead creased. "What? No! We already talked about this, Mia! There are so many things that can go wrong with it. I'm not going to help you!"

"So? You and the boys did it! You didn't messed it up!" Mia raised her voice.

"We got lucky, Mia." James said, lowly. "Why do you even want to do this?"

"Are you going to help me or not, James?"

James pursed his lips. "If I help you, will you tell me what's going on with you?"

"There's nothing going on with me, James." Mia lied.

He scoffed. "Then, I won't tell help you if you don't tell me what's going on with you."

Mia narrowed her eyes at the bespectacled boy.

Mia sighed deeply. "When I successfully turn into an animal, then I'll tell you. Do we have a deal?"

James nodded. "Yes. We have a deal, Amelia."

The next morning when Amelia went to her Potions class with a plan. She saw Regulus sitting alone, so she sat next to him.

"Well, hello, love." Regulus greeted with a smirk on his face.

Mia rolled her eyes. "What do you know about me?" Mia asked, sharply.

"You've gone sassy, love."

"Just tell me what you know."

Regulus closed his book, facing the girl. "Are you or are you not agreeing to what I said last night?" he asked in a serious tone. "If you agree, I'll tell you what I know, if you don't, then goodbye."

Mia pursed her lips. "Yes, I'm agreeing to it."

Regulus smiled. "Good. I'll tell you what you want to know during a cup of butterbeer. I'll see you on Saturday, love."
