43 | Potter Manor

"Are you really spending the whole summer with Potter and his friends?" Regulus asked in disbelief.

Mia nodded. "Yeah. I don't have anywhere else to go. Damon is spending time with Lily and her family, Grayson is traveling before he gets into the auror business."

Regulus huffed. "I don't trust Potter." he stated.

Mia rolled her eyes. "You don't trust anyone, Regulus." she said, nonchalantly. "Haven's spending the summer with us as well."

"I don't trust her either."

"Makes my point, Regulus."

When the train arrived at Kings Cross, the couple kissed each other goodbye before Mia went to find the James and Sirius. Mia saw James' parents but James and Sirius wasn't with them.

"Amelia!" Euphemia pulled the brunette into a quick hug.

"Mia, looking pretty as ever." Mia complimented.

"How about me?" Fleamont pouted, making his wife roll her eyes.

"Dashing as ever, Monty." Mia grinned.

"See, darling. I'm dashing." Fleamont smugly said to his wife.

"Anyway, have you seen James and Sirius?" Euphemia asked.

Mia shook her head. "I haven't—"

"We're here!" Yelled James as they pushed through the crowd.

"Sorry we're late. We caused a bit of a problem back at the train." Sirius grinned.

"They threw invisible dungbombs at Snape and his friends." Haven casually said.

"Snitch." Sirius grumbled under his breath.

Once they've apparated to the Potter Manor, Euphemia and Fleamont went to the kitchen to whip up a snack, ordering James and Sirius to show the girls around the house, even though they've been there already.

"Mia, you'll be staying at the room next to mine. Haven, the room next to Sirius as usual." James said.

"Haven! Sirius! Can you come down for a minute?" Euphemia called out.

"Okay!" Sirius and Haven said in unison before running downstairs.

Mia was dragging her trunk inside of the room she was assigned to when James carried it himself.

"Thanks." Mia said when James placed on top of her bed.

"No worries." James shrugged.

Mia was starting to unpack her belongings and James sat on her bed, watching thr brunette closely.

James hasn't spoken to her or seen her in a week because Mia was always with Regulus and Regulus wouldn't let her out of his sight which annoyed the living hell out of the marauders.

"So, how are you feeling?" James asked.

"Fine." Mia casually said.

"Are you sure?" James pushed.

"James, I'm fine, really."

James clicked his tongue. "See, I don't think you're fine."

Mia scoffed. "Really?"

"Yes. That's why tonight we are going to have some fun." James grinned.

Mia arched a brow at him. "What type of fun?"

"Fun that involves firewhiskey, butterbeer, and your boys." James said with a smirked on his face.

"I don't drink." Mia said.

James rolled his eyes. "You do. I asked Grayson." He said. "Time for you to have a good time, Amelia."
